Hey Danny I hope you are doing well. I live in Redwood Shores so I really appreciate you making great detailing business videos. I started detailing last year at the age of 59 and I love it! As you said in one of your videos at this age it's physically hard😅 I had open heart surgery on December 1st and Im on my way to full recovery. I also have an small car as you do for the business. Again, thank you so much for all the videos!
Mine is called the Load Warrior basket by Yakima. The rack and crossbars will be specific to your cars year make and model. Make sure to get the locks for the roof rack so people can’t just take it off your car in the middle the night.
Can you do a video show and tell like other detailers? (1) video going through your power tools like the generator, blower, power washer etc? And (2) all the chemicals, soaps and waxes?
Yes sir I can definitely do both of those videos. Thanks for making a suggestion and I do have a few videos with the chemicals are used for an exterior wash. But I can go ahead and make these. Stay tuned in the new year. Happy new year
This is really cool to hear your story, you do phenomenal work. As you grow you'll become more efficient but you built your business from the ground up! The Honda fit is a good dependable car. I personally can't fit but it does everything needed and it'll run forever!
Appreciate it SamSquatch. Is there things I need to hear to keep moving forward. It’s crazy how someone can go most of their life with not a lot of encouragement. Starting a TH-cam channel has been the best thing for my growth and self-confidence. Thanks for watching and putting in your two cents.
I do this currently and some people do judge off the vehicle.... they'll ask if I have a work van. I tell them I use my personal car they usually cancel .....
Damn, those people are superficial. Might be a blessing they cancel. They’d be a bad customer. What city are you in? Try not saying it’s my personal vehicle. Just tell them the make and model. Don’t even bring it up. The key is to stay confident in your speech. If you have to, tell them it’s all about the results, and your results are top notch. Best of luck.
@@dannys.auto.detailing_ Absolutely but compact cars stand out to the client and they really enjoy someone not taking alot of space. And when everything is really well organized they definitely remember that.
@@sicario2234574 I just looked at some pics of your car. Respect to you becasue the car is tiny. But it's got a decent sized trunk, and you can put the back seats down.
Hey Danny! As a 48 year old making a start in his own detailing business, I feel your pain. Lol. For the top rack, maybe look for an expandable cargo net, it might make things easier than using the straps.
Thank you Tim. And welcome to the old man detailers club. Lol. I didn’t think about a net at one point. Thanks for the advice. I will at least look into how it’s installed and used.
Where I live, the HOA has an issue with “Commercial Vehicles.” So I pretty much need to use the clients water and electricity where I go. Doesn’t matter. Even for clients with high end vehicles such as Lamborghini and Ferrari which I do on the regular. It’s all about your skill and confidence. Keep it up 👍
You are absolutely right Jeffrey. It is a waste of space. And sometimes I am just lazy. And it sucks. I need to find a way to get consistent to replenish my chemicals after the day is done. Trust me man I know. Thanks for reminding me. It’s a push that I needed.
Get yourself a small tank with a car battery and a compressor that they use from RVs that they use for the showers make yourself a small pressure washer for 3 to 500 bucks you’ll be able to do all those places that don’t have water
Danny I love your videos I'm 41 and u showing me its neva to late to chase your dreams
That’s right Alan, it’s never too late. I will die trying. But man my body is stiff. Gotta stretch more
That gtr
I know, right?
This dude, 46 and still chasing his. Love it! Very positive and has a vision. Wish this very best for this man.
Thank you for the encouragement and support. Made my day.

Keep going Danny! Thanks for the videos, you’ve helped out a lot
Right on. Glad I could help. Thanks for watching.🙏🏼🙏🏼
I was using a Scion tC now I have a van
Cool. How long did it take for you to get your van? How did you do it? Did you save up the full amount? Did you finances?
Hey Danny I need information about your roof rack for my car looks amazing can you give me some information of your roof rack

Right on brotha! I’m also looking forward and hoping for an amazing retirement someday
It’s a Honda Fit for a reason 💪🏽
That’s what I’m was saying! Everything just “fits!” Lol. Thanks for watching and I hope you stick around.
Thats actually pretty cool. I do the same thing out here in SoCal but detail from my 06 hyundai tiburon gs coupe

Bro is that your GTR?
No way dude. Do you really think I could have $100k car? I would not be detailing, lmao! It belongs to someone who rents that parking spot.

Do you ever to rinse-less washes on your regular customers cars? I seriously need to do more Rinse-less on some of my maintenance customers.
@@dannys.auto.detailing_ not really no. If I do, it’s strictly in their garage where the environment is more controlled. That’s my preference.
Danny isn’t it a waste of space to put gallons of product in the back? Why not just put in 32 Oz sprayers as needed
