This was my one and only trip to Quebec for hunting. We never had a run in with conservation officers on this trip but I always check and double check that I have all the necessary documents on my person so if or when I am stopped, I am completely legal and there is no fiddling around when asked to show proof of documents. Short story long, never had issues. Have you?
@@ShawnNorthernOutdoorExperience i am about to start my friend but i was reading the whole thing about hunting and safety ect, just i am wondering if i am gonna have a headache with the law since the conservation officer have more authority than a cop,he can search all of you including document caliber firearm even your car without a Warrant.
Without question. You have to be able to produce any document or be questioned any time, any place upon request. Personally, I always make sure that I know for certain that I am within the law whether I'm fishing or hunting and in a position to produce all documents when asked. Keep them handy and dry. I often have run in's while hunting and fishing in Ontario with no issues. Fishing and Hunting regulation books are like bibles to me. I go over them every year to see if there have been any changes and use them as refreshers to know that I'm legal. Basically cross your T's and dot your i's and all should be good.
@@ShawnNorthernOutdoorExperience thanks I've been waiting 3 years for the border to open so I can take my sons with me to Lac Maxime to hunt moose. Maybe this year will be the one Trudeau decides to open it up. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the video.
Nice quality camera, I felt like I was there the whole time. Beautiful location.
