Seeing you inside Legacy Station picking up your trains brought to mind that old expression 'Like a kid in a candy store'. I'm green with envie Eric! Keep those video reviews coming.
I'm already in love with the Reading T-1! The whistle sounds so accurate! I'm also excited for the Allegheny, SD60E trio, and the SD9043MAC. I remember when we used to get a lot of coke trains through Milwaukee and we'd see a lot of the Indiana Rail and CIT SD90s. Sadly, because NS has bought most of them and coke trains aren't common here anymore, seeing these engines is a lot harder. I'll be lucky to see one in NS colors passing through here when that day arrives.
That 2100 Reading and the Virginia are some nice looking locomotives! That's for sure! But I mean, anything made by Lionel is great in the first place.
now the SD-70 is sweet. look forward to the reviews on some of this stuff. Nice the traffic was better for the trip home. get that stuff out of the boxes sooner, and some running time.
Can't wait for a review of the T1! They used to run in my area during the 40s and 50s (I'm not that old but I got pictures). The Reading had trackage rights to operate over the Western Maryland in southern Pennsylvania and into Hagerstown Maryland.
I recognized the King Ranch logo on the leather seat backs of his Ford truck because I also have the King Ranch F 150. Eric could have a 250 though as Ford makes the King Ranch in both series. Nice truck, nice trains great lifestyle.
Eric you have the first new T-1 I've seen yet I'm from Reading where they ran from and where built I'm waiting for York in April to get one but I can't wait to see the review
I am heading to legacy station in the next 3 days. Do they have any new track possibly crossing gates and flashers. I just bought the Norfolk southern lionchief plus gp20 and was wondering what cars should I get next after getting more track.
Happy New Year Eric! That certainly is a nice cache of trains you took home with you. Yes, the whistle on the Virginian AG (aka Blue Ridge) is accurate so far as I know. The C&O used a Nathan single chime on their H8's and, since the Virginian AG's were virtual copies, I'm sure the whistles were identical too. There were some other differences that set them apart but I'm sure you will cover that in your review. If and when you do the review would you consider doing a side-by-side comparison shot with one of the Big Boys?
Eric, that T-1 is an amazing surprise! The whistle steam effect is sweet. Also dig that you're putting extra time reviewing tinplate recently. A true romance to model trains :). Happy New Year man.
Fun Fact: The Thomas Wooden Railway exclusive character Sam is based off the EXACT same Allegheny/Blue Ridge engine that Ericstrains now owns even with the same number 906 to match!
Hi Eric happy New Year's Eve!! I have a quick question for you. What Lionel train company do you think is the best? Like Lackawanna Union Pacific New York central etc. thank you and happy New Years to you and your family!!
Bill Yates I thought said there will be. What is your view on smoke. Do you run it just to run it or is that te Main thing you look at when running the train.
Hey could you make a video on how you clean your engines and how you clean your track? I know you have a lot of videos to make, but if you just filmed next time you did it I think it would be Awsome!
Eric, great video as always! I have a quick question for you if you have time. Do you run any TMCC on your layout, perhaps an older engine that you just can't give up, or are you strictly Legacy and PS 2 and 3.
I would appreciate everyones input on my situation . I want to start out with a Lionel O gauge set . I like the steam era . I have 5 sets of O gauge Marx from the late 50s and 60s... Can anyone send me a link to a nice starter set ??? Thanks !!
I love how the Allegheny looks. I just want one to have for display. Eric, you are one lucky man!
Excellent vid, as usual. That Indiana Railroad unit is beautiful!
Seeing you inside Legacy Station picking up your trains brought to mind that old expression 'Like a kid in a candy store'. I'm green with envie Eric! Keep those video reviews coming.
I love that Allegheny absolutely amazing sound and a stunning engine

I'll be looking forward to your review of the Reading T1
Love those single chime hooter whistles, C&O also had them on their Alleghenies.
got to love those cars sounds like they're on roller bearings those are fantastic
That 2100 Reading and the Virginia are some nice looking locomotives! That's for sure! But I mean, anything made by Lionel is great in the first place.
My grandfather has the Lionel Chessie System 2101 from the 90s. Interesting to see how much has been improved!
The reading t-1 and the state set are the big ones for me. Looking forward to the review
I like those GG1's, they look awesome.
I'm looking forward to seeing the T1 review. The whistle on the T1 sounds exactly like the whistle Reading 2102 had in September 1985.
So you plan on putting catenaries around the layout for your electric engines to use? That would be awesome!
The Virginian is awesome, great video as always!
that stuff you got was and will always be badass
Fantastic whistle...
I just missed you Eric! I was at Legacy later on that evening.
Wow the T1 sure has an amazing whistle
Awesome new trains Eric!
Unfortunately my income has not increased as much as Lionels prices. Thanks for sharing. Happy New year!
cool. like the Virginian & Reading steamer. awesome video.

Also do think you might eventually get the C&O 1601 and that T-1 looks beautiful and that whistle is like the best Lionel ever has done
Nice can u maybe do a review on the lionelAmtrak HHP-8 or the new MTH Amtrak P42
So how cool is this... I'm watching the Live Episode 5 and you upload this episode right in the middle watching it. 👍🏼🙌🏼😁
BenjaminGib Nice!
Im am ready to see these reviews
Eric when we'll see review of your truck ? And you must use your green pointing thing .
I recognized the King Ranch logo on the leather seat backs of his Ford truck because I also have the King Ranch F 150. Eric could have a 250 though as Ford makes the King Ranch in both series. Nice truck, nice trains great lifestyle.

Eric you should do a review on the Pennsylvania T1 4-4-4-4
I am heading to legacy station in the next 3 days. Do they have any new track possibly crossing gates and flashers. I just bought the Norfolk southern lionchief plus gp20 and was wondering what cars should I get next after getting more track.

Great Vid Eric! Now I just need some more money to buy all of these trains!
Jackson Railfan I'm in the same boat as you😂I'm only 13 I'm broke
Was watching this video and just wanted you to know that the pitch of the whistle on the allegheney is correct.
He got a job that pays well
Indeed. I need to earn some money for a N scale layout I have XD
Maybe he is not married?
cfolman he is
He's married, and has a son. He just has a great job, and/or he saves the hell out of his money.
Are you going to do a review on the Virginian Blue Ridge? also does it have a glowing firebox and ash pan?
Eric, that T-1 is an amazing surprise! The whistle steam effect is sweet. Also dig that you're putting extra time reviewing tinplate recently. A true romance to model trains :). Happy New Year man.
very interesting facts about trains
Fun Fact: The Thomas Wooden Railway exclusive character Sam is based off the EXACT same Allegheny/Blue Ridge engine that Ericstrains now owns even with the same number 906 to match!
Does this store carry used and vintage trains by Lionel, Marx and American Flyer?
Are you ever thinking about getting the HO Lionel Polar Express even though you are an O Gauge collector?
Not realistic
6:39
Lionel 2-10-10-2: you dare to oppose me mortal.
FYI the whistle is off a little but the bell is great
hey Eric, my name is Payton I'm new and I was wondering if you had a video setup of your diesel service station or depot on your main train layout
Do a review of the Lionel reading railroad t-1 4-8-4 steam locomotive it's so freaken awesome and so cool. Also I want to see it so bad.
Great video Eric! The Tinplate State Set looks cool. Thanks for the teasers at the end. Have a safe and Happy New Year!!!
Yo that Indiana was beautiful
The Reading T1 is nice. However the trailing truck looks like a left over from when they did Santa Fe 3751
OMG! OMG! The allegheny! OMG!

Thanks Bill!
I bet Eric is the biggest way that legacy station still sells trains 😂.
Hi Eric happy New Year's Eve!! I have a quick question for you. What Lionel train company do you think is the best? Like Lackawanna Union Pacific New York central etc. thank you and happy New Years to you and your family!!

Curious, what do you do for a living?
last summer i went to legacy train stop
I'd love to get this much O scale stuff at one time. The terrifying thing about all of this merchandise is the price. I bet this is around $3,000
Every time you make a run to Legacy Station on a video I end up spending more next time I order stuff. Thanks Eric😂
Tim Lewis m
I can't wait to see you run the t1 more. Do you think you could do a special were it's "nightime" and everything is lit by your railroad?

ericstrains hi
Eric, great video as always! I have a quick question for you if you have time. Do you run any TMCC on your layout, perhaps an older engine that you just can't give up, or are you strictly Legacy and PS 2 and 3.
