I may be late commenting on this video and maybe no one will see this comment, but I come here every morning and every day because of my depression. This soothing music helped me a lot. I just wanted to say thank you for letting me get through the tough times.
there is nothing wrong with depression, depression has an evolutionary adative function, the issue is not being depressed the issue is whether the state is adaptive to your circumstance or not adaptive, depression is mechanism to curb our unrealistic expectations of life, when we are disappointed it means our expectation of something was wrong, then we suppose to correct our action or plans to get the result we want or to let go of the want of the result, and move on.
It's a lovely answer, but when you're depressed...just seems rhetorical until the happy pill finally kicks in !

Don't need a sleeping pill. This will get me to sleep faster than a pill would. I listen to different rain and thunderstorms every night to help me sleep. Love to hear the rain at night. It's a good sedative.

This was before seat belt laws. My mother had a big car from the 1960s. I would climb up on the back window area while she drove. It seemed liked we were driving to heaven. I was all nice and warm and cozy with therain pounding on the window. I tried hard not to fall asleep because I loved the experience. But eventually I did. Nice memories

lol. Did you not notice that the video is just a short clip repeated over and over? The clip is only 1minute and 39 seconds long. If you speed up the video to 2 x, the sound does not speed up. So the audio recording is not from the drive.
@@marks6663 Yep. Great audio, but it was weird seeing the same police car and the other three or four vehicles again and again. Great for listening, but not for watching.
Perfect. Was watching video of someone driving through a hurricane, and when just driving, it was soothing. Unfortunately, every time I started to get drowsy, the driver would start yapping, ruining it. Heavy rain while driving with no one flapping their gums is what I was looking for. Now, I can finally fall asleep. Thank you.

Bout 1 and a half minutes looped, the transition is a fade back into the start so you only notice if you look at the wipers.
Plus the sound is an app looped. , that’s why you don’t hear the wipers, tires, or car sounds.
This is one of the best sleep rain videos in the “gentler rain” subgenre. There is wonderful foreground/background separation. I give it 5 stars. 💯🤩

I dnt use the rain to go to sleep i love to watch it. It makes me feel safe and more comfortable for some reason but i dont have anxiety problems i just love the rain🤣
I have a horrible case of not being able to fall asleep without some type of sound. I've tried to sleep without sound but, it never works. I turned to rain as a last resort and strangely, rain just does something to me i can't describe. Thank you for literally just existing and making this!!
