Hey checking out the speedrun leaderboards and people have 1-2 minute Zoe defeat runs? Im confused how theyre doing that if catching doesnt count as defeating in the speedrun rules?
Well yes, with the glitch you see in the video it's always 100% catch. Without the glitch not catchable at all. What is funny tho is that when you catch her Pal you catch her with it and she will sit on top of it
I've already beaten the game legit. It's not about cheating and ruining others experience, it's about speedruning. You can check my glitchless speedrun if you want, it's the first one i made
Cheating implies that you have used a non game function to gain an advantage. An exploit is more like an Easter egg, who is to say it was not intentionally put in by the devs? I don't condone either in a competitive multiplayer game but in something like this, the harm is limited and it give the game replayability. Just sayin
Cheats are externally imported into a game (or activated by a code in retro games), exploits & glitches is just using the game's ai & bugs against itself.
you do know there are different categories for speed runs right? theres glitchless and glitch runs, speed running is all about fun... learn something new buddy
