Zuckerberg DESTROYED in Metaverse

Mark wants you in his world. He wants you bad. He won't let you go.
Don't get me wrong, I think virtual reality systems are pretty cool. The feeling is truly next generation, but I don't think it's cool how the tech bros have twisted what used to be the exciting frontier of the internet. If you remember life in the 90s, the internet felt like a frontier of sharing and connection that would elevate humanity. It was fun and exciting. I don't understand how people like Mark, who grew up in that environment of freedom want to create a place like the metaverse which is a walled garden where we are fed ads and meant to be constantly hooked to the place. That's not freedom or uplifting.
