Great vid! I would also add another tip: Make use of your mid-air blinks! While you are blinked, you cannot get stunned by the blue balls or dropped by darkness minions - very useful in lots of cases during the fight
Well it varies for every class and what your gear level is, some classes have an upfront Origin, some leave an FD buff after, some do damage over the next 30s. I think it's difficult to give one hard and fast rule on when it's best to do so. You then also have to factor in whether or not your origin burst is capable of hitting a double vulnerability phase or not.
@@RathGMS That totally makes sense. As a NL my 60seconds of dmg kinda doesnt help unless I can do enough to auto start the next opening. After watching your vid thou I did manage to solo him for my first time ^_^ Also after testing it seems your first orgin bind should be at 18:45 to skip the beam mech. On another note this vid turned me on to your others. The way you talk and structure your guides are very well done!
another tip: if you want to time when the eye opens next, just count 20 seconds after when the lazer ends. eg. if the lazer ends at 28:30, the next eye open will be at 28:10 (unless you hit the hp threshold for a double open)
I can finally solo normal guardian slime at a decent pace (last time I had about 5 minutes left on my timer) and now I'm trying to actually beat either east lucid or hard lotus (both of witch I got to phase two of; lucid has too many health bars :/ )
I am finally about to start fighting him for myself so maybe right after I kill him! I feel like after my first kill I'll probably have to know him pretty well since it's all solo
you really need to SLOW down speaking. you're showing a complex boss while flashing indicators on screen AND text at the same time, while people are coming to this boss for the first time with no knowledge. this is a poor first watch experience - 1 fame

opener is 60 seconds eye closed, afterwards it is 30 secs open 30 secs closed rotation

for using the hero's will skills during darkness, do you have to pre cast them or can you use it after getting one of the status effects?
only skill lock and darkness you can cast after.
stun and petrification, you need to pre-cast
The goal is darkness every 3 opens, so taking darkness end of second open is big
