Bhai mere pass verna 1.6 diesel auto hai 2017 model aur honda city 1.5 petrol auto hai 2021 model, high speed pe verna ka handling bhot kamzor ho jata hai , confidence nahi ata , lekin honda road se chipak ke chalti hai aur pura confidence milta hai , baaki diesel me to verna 1.6 ka koi jod nai hai
Bhai convenience bhi koi chiz hoti hain. None of the budget cars provide a well calibrated automatic gearbox. And we all know the reliability of Dsg/Dct gearbox and that too in Indian conditions.
Only reliable and well compromised options under budget is either tourque converter or CVT. CVT do make more sense because of jerkless rides and efficiency kyoki hum middle class Indians ko Fortuner main bhi Alto wala mileage chahiye. Drive it the way it’s ment to be (light foot with part throttles) and CVT iss budget me aapko niraash nahi karega. The City CVT does 0 to 100 kmph somewhere around 11.5 seconds, which is still quick enough for 90% of the jantaa under this budget.
I too prefer manual over automatic because budget automatics simply robs away engine performance but after a long day at work, under stop and go traffic, automatics are boon.
Always remember these principles before buying a car/bike:
Fast and affordable is not reliable.
Reliable and fast is not affordable.
Affordable and reliable is not fast.

In a nutshell an amazing sedan that is way overpriced with a small boot.
Old Verna is 126 bhp..1.6 ltr...
But currently coming with 113 and 118 bhp ...
However as per my calculation Verna should reach more than 200 kmph ..due to power to weight ratio since it's liter vehicle
On other hand city lag in Power to weight ratio, due to its heavy body weight...but here comes variable valve timing concept...which will give actual power after u cross 120... And city also can reach 200 kmph
Also Verna becomes unstable at that high speed
On other hand city is under control till it's max limit due to weight...
Both the cars have its unique advantage
Looks wise city sucks...Verna rocks
Safety wise Verna sucks ...city rocks
Performance wise both will do almost same
I have 1.6 fluidic...have done 180 185 few times. Takes a bit after 140 150

Family and daily use ke liye car leni hai , milage comfort low maintainance and family car kya sahi rahegi?

My VX CVT 2016 gives 19-20 Kmph on highway (cruise control) but mileage drops to 8-9 in heavy traffic within city limits or rush hour. I want to install CNG now and mileage inside city during rush hour should increase to 14-16.

How idiotic. You are expecting performance From a CVT. CVT is known for its smooth shifting and fuel efficiency and not for performance, in fact brands detune their engine to pair with CVT because CVT can't handle a lot of torque.....
For comfort honda city is the best German sedans can't provide this much of comfort
