I chose to highlight the accents of the ride (chorus) in the score, which can be perceived more from the original audio when playing the cymbal. However, I believe that the approach to the ride is in general with an accent on the downbeat (if some are perceived more and others not is a question of dynamics), except of course for the obliged ones of the upbeat ride, which are absolutely choices :)
