One of the best talks on trauma stored in the body that I have ever heard.

It amazes me that videos such as these, which are life-changing, don't get as many views as a gamer throwing his chair across the room in anger...what's going on? I believe people, in the whole, are not interested in this stuff. Changing is painful and effortful, but worth it.

Today is the third year anniversary of a family member's violent attack on me. I thought I dealt with it well with getting extra sleep and meditation. I got ready to go out to run some typical errands and that's when my body remembered the trauma. My skin started to itch, especially my legs. I was confused as I don't have allergies or a skin condition. It wouldn't stop. And then I started to panic. And I remembered: my attacker caused a lots of bruising from kicking and punching me....

Hmmm, I used to become fearful and depressed in the autumn because I knew we couldn't be outside playing until bedtime. We were trapped in the house with our violent alcoholic father

is it possible to remember positive things without words? Or is this only something that happens with traumatic memories?

I do that with a lot of videos. So much to listen to and so little time.

Get off tik tok. It makes your condition worse.

is it a body or an emotional memory the same as a subconscious memory?
