Since the first game, Aiden refused to be part of dedsec, the actual Watch Dogs, and this time around he just says that he understands her, being a "cynical lone wolf". Even working with dedsec temporarily, he still does not think of himself as part of the group, he works alone, he doesn't think he's part of the Watch Dogs... He's the Fox.

Given what’s happened in Bloodlines, Aiden is more than just “The Fox” or “The Vigilante” now. He is Aiden Pearce, one member of a large resistance movement.

They only could’ve done Bloodline as a separate DLC, but no, Ubisoft literally went out of their way to actually give you the ability to play as either Aiden and Wrench for the main campaign along with having their VAs speak the fixed lines that were put in place while adding in their own unique charm. (Aiden for his “dark, serious, take no shit” attitude and Wrench’s “imma fuck you up with a smile on my face” attitude) I fucking love that.

Some of these just seem off. As if Aiden isn’t as ruthless and cunning as he was in WD1. When he confronts Iraq, he tells him that he “took something far more valuable from me.” When he confronts Lucky Quinn, he tells him “Do whatever you like. That doesn’t interest me.” when Quinn is dying. It would’ve been better to see him stick to his street smart approach to things imo. In this one, his dialogue isn’t the same as the Vigilante who “cleans up mess like you.” Maybe he has changed in the WD story, but they really dropped the ball there.
Watch Dogs Legion should’ve been focused on Aiden, Wrench, Marcus (possibly) and just Mina and Darcy imo The game have the ability to play as multiple NPCs just felt too dull and unrealistic
Well if you play through Bloodline, it kinda makes sense that he isn’t so brutal. But on the whole it’s like Aiden in the campaign has forgotten everything that happened in that DLC. He works closely with Angel Lopez and Claire the journalist, but when he hears they’re dead in the campaign it’s like he never knew them. Strange error on Ubisoft’s part.
Also, lucky and iraq were part of the conspiracy that ended up killing his niece, so he had a personal stake in it while in legion, he is slightly detached due to not being involved with them yet

I mean technically she used him as a guinea pig there was no guarantee it wouldn’t of worked, so he got lucky it worked but she would not of cared if he had died.
IIRC, it's mentioned that her body was never found, which, to me, implies that she's actually not dead and did somehow survive and slip away to hide somewhere in the background....though whether that means she will become a recurring villain, or if she will get a "redemption arc" where she tries to become a "hero" again remains to be seen.

How do we know Sabine actually died though? One of her hacked drones could have caught her and she still lives possibly setting up for a sequel to this games story.
Killing Skye is probably what Aiden would have canonically chose if he was the one to do that, but it would have probably been an hard one for him, since one of the toughts that he could have been thinking about was probably wether it could have prevented what happen to him with Lena for others.
Tbf, if it wasn’t Jackson it could’ve went a VERY different way. Plus those two most likely told him that she treated them like guinea pigs, which she admits to ,in a way.
tbh i feel as players we gotta work out wut endings match which prestige operative: 1) For the Bloody Mary Kelley arc have Darcy finish it off. (i spoke with aiden during this arc and he said he doesnt trust cops understandably). 2) For the 404/Skye Larson Arc use Darcy again bc u will be disappointed if u try to connect her to bloodlines with new dialogue as wrench or aiden. theres nothing notable. 3) For the Nigel Cass arc finish it with Wrench. doesnt make sense to have aiden preaching to Cass abt Dedsec's faith in people when he is a loner himself. further proven by this video. For Malik im not sure yet--i may return and edit since im replaying. 4) For the Sabine/Zero Day Arc use Wrench bc he has a personal connection to Dedsec as a whole so theme hits harder with Wrench the most. Wut do u guys think~?

They didn't do this out of love. They did this because people hated the random character mechanics and it was affecting the game sales.

Killing Skye is probably what Aiden would have canonically chose if he was the one to do that, but it would have probably been an hard one for him, since one of the toughts that he could have been thinking about was probably wether it could have prevented what happen to him with Lena for others.

tbh i feel as players we gotta work out wut endings match which prestige operative: 1) For the Bloody Mary Kelley arc have Darcy finish it off. (i spoke with aiden during this arc and he said he doesnt trust cops understandably). 2) For the 404/Skye Larson Arc use Darcy again bc u will be disappointed if u try to connect her to bloodlines with new dialogue as wrench or aiden. theres nothing notable. 3) For the Nigel Cass arc finish it with Wrench. doesnt make sense to have aiden preaching to Cass abt Dedsec's faith in people when he is a loner himself. further proven by this video. For Malik im not sure yet--i may return and edit since im replaying. 4) For the Sabine/Zero Day Arc use Wrench bc he has a personal connection to Dedsec as a whole so theme hits harder with Wrench the most. Wut do u guys think~?
