The INSTANT we learned of the Savathun motif and it's relevance in-game/in-lore, we knew we had to craft a song around it. It's also tucked in the background in the intro too! :)

Why does this channel not have more subs and views? WHY? I'm so glad I stumbled upon this by way of a laziness-powered google search and curiosity got the best of me. I legit came here expecting like EDM or dance and was happily surprised ti discover a new rock band to like!
I like the way you guys write the lyrics cause to someone who don’t play destiny this sounds like your normal everyday song (not an insult) but to someone who plays destiny we get the full picture, very cool way to write a song
That means a lot to us. Obviously we want the song to work on a Destiny lore level, but that same lore really reminds us of real life situations. Glad you enjoyed the song!
Wonders if you guys are going to do a Final Shape song, end of Light n Dark saga and all that. For the 10 year of Destiny, it defnitive need a banger song to give it a conclusion and send it off with a bang.
I know this song is about our lovely moth lady BUT! It couldn't have come into my life at a more perfect time -- at the time I first heard this song I was dealing with severe trauma from breaking it off from an abusive ex, I won't get into the details but I will say that I was dealing with two consecutive years of manipulation that even Savathun would be taken aback from (even though if you're asking me I would honestly take Savathun over my ex LMAO). Breaking free took a lot, even though it did end in a lot of pain and losing literally everyone I was friends with at the time (then again when it comes to stories like mine nobody believes the victim first and when they DO believe the victim the damage has already been done), and in a way, this song speaks to that. I'm done with my ex, I'm done with the lies they pushed on me, and if they actually genuinely cared about me even slightly (newsflash: they didn't) they wouldn't have done what they did to me. I'm in a better place emotionally and mentally now, in part because I'm out of the environment that's caused me so much pain, in part because I've been using Destiny as a form of self-therapy, and in part because I'm in a new relationship now and I'm fighting like hell. I still have a lot to untangle and sort through but I'm getting there.
Thank you so much for sharing this! You completely nailed what our music is all about - yes, of course, we love Destiny, but underneath all these polygons and creativity are stories that movie us to face certain emotions and feelings we never otherwise would have considered. We're glad to hear you are in a better place
