The fact that he sacrificed himself for the town, that believed him to be a murderer, is spine chilling. Eddie deserved so much better. Eddie wasn't a hero, he was THE hero.

It's heartbreaking the fact that he sacrificed himself for a town who absolutely hated him, and believed him to be a murder. Eddie deserved so much more then that. The scene where Dustin is telling Eddie's uncle about him is heartbreaking, and so is his death scene itself. I cried watching both those scenes, and the "This is for you Chrissy" at the beginning of the guitar scene, and especially the line " I didn't run away this time, right?" was heartbreaking to me. Gatens emotion in his death scene made the scene even more heartbreaking. Eddie is a hero. I know this comment is fairly long but I just wanted to make it as a tribute for Eddie. #JUSTICEFOREDDIE

He played a tribute like a guitar god, for a girl he very much liked, yet couldn't save. Stood his ground down like a spartan warrior, using a spear, and shield to face a army of creatures in a hellish world. Even at his death still asked dustin to take his place, to protect outcasts, and accepted his death.

It would ruin that emotional death scene. I wish he didn't die and I cried so much but I don't want him to be brought back. It would take away from that emotional scene, that sacrifice, him changing and deciding that he's done running. It would ruin it.

Because sadly there was just no happy resolution for his character when you think about it. The alternative was likely prison or that douche trying to kill him.

The scene with Dustin and Eddie’s uncle made me tear up; I don’t think we saw a lot of scenes with Eddie and his Uncle, but there was definitely love there. Eddie standing in the middle of that swarm with a shield and spear is one of the most badass moments ever! And whenever he and Dusty play Master of Puppets and he says, “this is for Chrissy”, oh my heart 🥺

In S3 the mind flayer took over billy's body but fought back. There for Eddie might be good use. Also for those who will say "but Joseph said get rid of me". well your right he did. BUT Joseph is attempting to get the role back. And the duffers have accidentally let out some info that Eddie will be back in S5. so yes. Eddie will be back in Hawkins. I can’t explain how much I adore Eddie - I know right now he has some bad reputation on the internet but I honestly don’t care that doesn’t change how much he means to me. This is stupid, but I’ve worn his necklace constantly since the release of volume four and has become sort of a comfort for me to have? And it was my second day of work today, I was terrified and felt like I was completely alone and almost cried, but somehow just holding the guitar pick helped? It just made me feel less alone - I absolutely adore him

@@alaquics5107 There are a lot.of fan theories that they can draw from.if they need inspiration and a fair amount of them would be really cool, not just miraculous healing. Also writing doesn't start until august so they have time to change their minds. It may not be what they originally planned, but things change in writing all the time
Honestly I have a theory somehow Vecna, even though he has stolen Barbs soul, Chrissy's, Eddie's, etc.. I feel like someway El is going to find a way to defeat Vecna and maybe when/if she does, all of their souls will be released.. although of course this has many issues, I've just been thinking on it!

And even in the Hellfire game they play the character Kas they mention was a human turned vampire by Vecna so it could happen and it would be on point with the foreshadowing the Difference brothers love to do.
ALSO I don't know why NO ONE is talking about the fact that his band is called CORRODED COFFIN. Hello, vampire??? It makes the most sense out of all the theories and its not the most convenient either because he'd be in service to vecna for a bit, but he could end up being the one that turns on him and helps kill him.
