Exploring the SINGAPORE ZOO NIGHT SAFARI 🇸🇬

- Thanks to your suggestions, we headed to the Night Safari at the Singapore Zoo! Many people said that our kids would love it, and they were right. The Singapore Zoo Night Safari is a one-of-a-kind experience that allows visitors to observe nocturnal animals in their natural habitat. Operating from 7:15 pm to midnight, visitors are transported through the park on a tram ride that covers seven different geographic zones. The Creatures of the Night Show is a highlight, featuring a variety of nocturnal animals in a captivating performance. In addition to the tram ride and show, visitors can explore the walking trails for a more intimate experience. That is what we did, and we loved it.
We also followed everyone’s suggestions and got bus/subway passes for Singapore. It is so easy, convenient, and much cheaper to use the public transportation options in Singapore. Thanks for helping us out!

ABOUT US
We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in Chennai, India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. My sister used to be a tram guide at the Night Safari - she's the one giving the commentary during the rides. When my kids were younger, we had membership to the Night Safari so we used to go several times a week just to go one round on the tram 😂 The kids loved it! And yes, some parts can get creepy.. The staff have a lot of stories to tell 😅

For night safari, if you have a good night eyesight, you will enjoy more. The trail can be quite dark.
If you took the tram, you could see animals without glass or fences. They roam around freely.

•As dusk falls, the shutters open at the Night Safari, welcoming you into a world of nocturnal creatures and their mysterious habitats.

I'm from Singapore, and I haven’t brought my kids to the night safari because my 4 year old will fall asleep by then. I brought them to the Zoo, SEA Aquarium, Science Centre, KidStop (beside Science Centre), and themed indoor playgrounds like Pororo Park, Tayo Station, Pink Fong and mostly indoor playgrounds. I can't stand the heat either. 😆

It's NIGHT safari, not easy to film in low light. Plus, most of us enjoy watching their family interaction and are not really expecting a lesson about zoo animals. There's always Animal Planet or Nat Geo for that. As for ticket prices, you could always look that up online.
