I applaud you for adding parts on the car that actually help the Z put the power down and handle better. So many people are throwing money on trash parts or upgrades for the body and let the rest of the car go to trash.
It’s a pretty good car to begin with, so a few key parts really make it awesome. I’m a bit more about function over form and not super worried about making a ton of power.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Same, most of my mods have been to get the car to behave the best while driving and a slight bump in power. These are pushing 17+ years old so power isn't super great
havent seen the c6 in a while. did you sell it? i just bought mine and thought i would check back in on the channel since now we both have a q daily driver and a corvette but i saw your last video on the vette was 9 months ago. just wondering where its at or if you got rid of it and why. cheers man
Completely different in so many ways. The Z is raw and obnoxious, but handles so well. Nimble and planted. The Q in stock form is almost boring, but with the mods done its a different animal. More power and grunt and a bit more refined, it would struggle to keep up with the Z in the mountains.
1. With the parts out now for the VR i would keep a 350z without a power adder. With the amount of cash you would have to spend the hp you would get out of it wouldn't be worth it to me. I think what you've done to your car is perfect and the Z 350 and 370 seems to shine in mountain areas more than where i live in north Florida and people love to build high powered machines. 2. Whats up with Nissan/infiniti always having the sloppiest suspension? That seems to be a reoccurring theme with them. 3. What does this car run in the quarter mile with your mods?
I agree! I can’t even guess what it would do in the 1/4. Gears are so short it wouldn’t even be good. Probably close to stock with a slight edge just because it puts the power down a bit more efficiently.
How you doing SCS? Q50 Question : I recently bought a 2014 Q w/60,000 mi and i just got it back from firestone & they lmk my "transerfercase rear pinion seal" is starting to leak, would this be the same as the rear diff failure you frequently mention?
Hey there SCS. I am planning to do the SCS exhaust setup on my Q50 3.7. I just want to know how loud will it be with a non resonated testpipes. Will it be louder than a muffler delete? And how loud will the sound be compared to a Q50 stillen exhaust?
Stillen sounds like crap so don’t even compare it. SCS Catback with test pipes is about the same volume as a muffler delete just more of a refined tone

Wow you did a great job with that thing. I love the mismatched tire reasoning, I never would have thought of that
I’ve been experimenting for a long time lol.
Jeez man this 350z is so clean
Thanks!
Waiting for mine patiently or a 370 to go with the 3.7Q 😅

Yes sir, sold it and bought a truck and camper. Looking for the next car though and another c6 is something I am definitely considering!
Clean
How does your 350z compare to the q50 (the ultimate driving machine!!)?

How is the gear whine. I have the same setup in my 370 and the gear whine is bad on the highway.
I have very little gear whine. Are you sure it’s gear whine? Shouldn’t have any really with a stock setup. Have you changed your diff fluid lately?
How much money did you put into the car after purchase not including maintenance????

No if they are saying pinion seal then it is with the diff itself.
