You went at the right time because once the people start coming the wadi is packed...the green areas you were walking through was not a village, just farms where the owners live elsewhere and only the scarce workers live n work the land... glad you both had a natural hike adventure and wadi swim, hope you saw the lovely sink hole to.... there are only a handful on our planet.
