Its as though she wants to be seen in the same way we look back at legends from the old rock scene of the 70-80s. Shes brilliant and got an epic voice and stage presence but its like shes in dress up.

She's great, I did the same a few years back thanks to an ex playing me her version of Jolene. Then I found 'You're Going to Make Me Lonesome When You Go' and the deal was done.
Beyond impressed about her ability in this song. She even did a spoken monologue and had to time the break to roll back into the bridge which wasn’t an even 16. She’s a true musician.
I use to say she can sing anything except for Tom Waits and Bob Dylan. I' m happy to be proven wrong of the latter at least. She is .... yeah, you fill in the rest. I' m lost for words ...

Miley's versatility is what makes each cover sound different than the original, its amazing what she's capable to come up with! Love the style she integrates and makes it her own!
Brilliant .Her natural sense of phrasing and feel for the genre simply oozes in this performance and just like Lady G she has an overwhelming respect for her musicians which is sadly lacking in many of her peers who couldn't touch her talent .
I remember in 2016 when Miley was in a hiatus writing younger now, being so deeply in love with Liam, and doing the voice. Then she randomly decided to gift us with this amazing cover at Jimmy’s, I couldn’t stop listening to it until Malibu dropped in May 2017. ❤

bob dylan has been one of my favorite artists my whole entire life. and that song is only good because of the extreme uniqueness to his voice and style and miley just turned it into an absolutely beautiful masterpiece
