They don't need to stand up, they clapped and bowed to show their respect, but its only idols that stamd up for other idols from what ive seen on award shows. Senior actors dont need to do that for others unless they want to like Lee Seung Gi did for IU
@@Aque1234 to me it doesn't matter whether they are big seniors (and they don't even look that old), it's just basic respect for all human beings. sure it could be a culture thing but like you said, there are people like lee seung gi who are polite enough not to act all snobby. actors are not SUPERIOR to idols, and just because you are older also doesnt mean you are superior to others
