    I'm probably just being weird but the visuals and audio make this feel like it was made just before or just after the year 2000.

    Your video is short, to the point, and very useful. Especially that you show all the tools you need and give commentary as you do it. Excellent video!

    just starting back into warhammer 40k after 10 years, and going to start an eldar army... I heard about magnetizing and wanted to know how to do it. Your video gave me everything I needed, thank you very much...
    As a little idea I thought of while watching the video for anyone else thinking of starting this, maybe mark your magnet cylinder to show which side is for the weapons, and which side for the model. Would ensure you don't accidentally get your polarization wrong.

    This is useful for tanks and hqs... e.g. captain with thunderclaw hammer, powersword or effect looks like kit bash kits

    A metal paperclip can work too, especially if you are having a harder time with the cylinder.

    dont go back and forth with a file like that only do one pass then pick it up and repeat going from front edge towards the handle and do the rest with sand paper of some sort

    question. why magnetize both sides? wouldn't you only need magnets on one side and any metal on the other?

    • @nickkung8041
      @nickkung8041 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That could also work. But if you use 2 magnets it will 2X the magnetic force because of two magnets pulling each other

    I don't get it ? Grown ass men messing with fantasy sci-fi figurines like Gundam.
    To me this is what boys and young teenagers do. To me, men build things based on reality like a classic car, a navy destroyer, armored personal carrier, military aircraft, real space program stuff like the shuttle, or even a civilian airliner.
    There is absolutely ZERO historical significance having a Gundam diorama sitting on your shelf lol. To me its kind of immature. Fantasy robots ? Really?
    I don't get it ? To each his own I suppose. Lol

      I think what you have to realize is these likely aren't display pieces. Often they're for playing military strategy games. You build armies at certain point values with different capabilities and pit them against your opponent. Look up Warhammer 40,000 (futuristic) or Age of Sigmar (fantasy.) Of course there are the Gundam builders, but often these little guys aren't that, they're your infantry guys.
