Omg! I used to let people make all of the decisions….actually, I still at 52 years old let everyone make decisions for me. I say that I’m just really easy going. And, although that may be true there are things that I’d like to do on my own. I told Sam in a comment I was hoping you were coming to the east coast next. And, even though I’m in New Jersey and Maine is quite a distance from me it’s still doable. I really hope I can find the courage to just let go and come along for the next trip! So, thank you for saying that!
It makes a difference if your partner, not only "allows " you to do things but encourages it, because if they don't proactively encourage you, you can feel guilty for doing it. Even though you are allowed and a full grown adult in charge of your own life.

I turned 30 earlier this year and most of my 20s were dark. I feel like missed out, and I did, but I have grown to know myself. I also have a Samantha bestie, she's the one who would invite me to do cool things that no one else seen interested in!
