    my first impression on the test ride was that it was far better in every respect than my 2018 CB500F so I bought one - now 6 months into ownership I am supremely pleased with it. my skill level doesn't allow me to ride it like you did here but I still have tremendous fun

      They are genuinely a cracking little bike. If I bought one with my own money I wouldn't be upset.

      Regardless of your "skill level" any ride where you can return home safe and sound is a good ride. Stay safe and enjoy every journey.

      Will it be a good bike for the snow and ice , in winter... Can you get knobby tires, in that size... ???

    • @Dakar_Steve
      @Dakar_Steve  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Rick-qf5de I'm sure knobblies will be available in that size but would look well out of place and it's not an off road capable machine. As far as snow and ice go I wouldn't know and don't want to find out.

      I was going to do dirt bike handlebars on a 400 Ninja and nobbies.... For winter.... That was going to be a pain in the butt....

    Should have been an in-line 4.

      Like most platforms it’s a shared engine from several models

      @@Dakar_Steve I get the reasoning but a baby Z900RS would be something really special. Parallel twins really don’t do it for me, as good as they no doubt are.

      @@gk73man51 yeah I would like an inline four too. The engine is a belter tho I’ve ridden a few bikes with it and it gets the job done.

    I prefer the Z650 RS over the Z900 RS. It seems that I have a strange disconnection between my brain and my throttle hand when I'm on a bike with 100 plus horsepower. So if I want to live much longer I best stay away from the Z900 RS.

      🤣🤣 fair point. My normal bike is 160hp which is more than enough!

      @@Dakar_Steve I wouldn't live long with 160hp on a bike. That disconnect problem I have.

      Exactly more ponies and power is more trouble when you have it you will use it no matter how disciplined you think you are. Enjoy the ride not traffic fines.
