My fam and i are in the process of moving to Arizona from California. Casa Grande is where we found a new construction home that we really loved. It's a 3000 SQ ft home with basically 6 bedrooms if you count the "study room" and "den" as rooms and 3 bathrooms. Right now it's got a estimated price of 389k and boy were we shocked to see such a home cost so little. In the area i live in now which is 15 minutes from la a home like this would cost over 1 million for sure. But anyways man this video made us feel a little more comfortable about how casa grande is. Really hoping we end up buying this home and all goes good with minimal problems during the buying process.
Lucid Motors is opening up a plant there and has me interested for manufacturing. It doesn’t look like you get the 360° mountain views that I love that it seems like you get everywhere else in the valley.
Checkout the developments off of McCartney Road on the other side of I10, Some of those developments have bigger lots and are further from the main parts of town and are going to have better views
There was an outlet called Tanger outlets off i10 heading south after the main exit for Casa grande which is now abandoned as well. Lived there for 3 years and felt it was so desolate but could see it was a happening place once.
For the record that area at the end of the video is a development called Mission Royale with houses built by Meritage Homes. I just moved there almost 4 months ago. This part of Casa Grande is the newest part including that mall called The Promenade and they're still adding on to it. There's another part with newer developments that I like more on/off of McCartney Road that has developments with bigger lots, it's on the other side of I10 to the southeast? If I was to do it all over again I would have chosen Maricopa mainly because of it's closer proximity to Chandler, Gilbert etc. since I go there a couple times a week. But Casa Grande is bigger and has more of the popular businesses that Maricopa doesn't
Hi Jeff that mall is not the outlet mall I believe the outlet mall is gone at least when I went there over 7years ago all they had left was a Hanes/Vanity Fair Outlet and a perfume outlet the mall your at is not doing well it had lost a Target, Old World Market and Best Buy within the last 4 years, I haven’t been to Casa Grande in over a year there’s really no reason for me to go out there when Gilbert, East Mesa, Chandler and Queen Creek have every store I need. I hope they open the Phoenix Mart bye 2021 it was supposed to be up and running in 2016 I’m not sure if it will ever get completed anyways I just wanted to let you know the Promenade Mall is a regular outdoor Mall.
I’m looking to buy in Casa grande. I can’t find anyone who goes through the older neighborhoods out there. I want a home with land. Not a ton. Maybe like an acre or so. Shopping online since were from out of state. But TH-cam videos have been a huge help to us. Especially your videos. We’re torn between Apache junction, casa grande, Florence, possibly San tan or maricopa. I wanna drive through the neighborhoods on the outskirts of town too. Thanks for all you do though. Lots of good info always.
I have lived in Maricopa Az for 16 yrs. I moved to Arizona from California. I love Maricopa. Very nice friendly town. We are about 30 minutes from many towns like, Casa Grande, San Tan, Chandler and Phoenix. Good luck relocating!!! Greetings from Arizona
Thanks for the tour. I have a new career that's taking me out there very soon. Excited for the move and change of scenery. I always really enjoyed Arizona.
I imagined the trailer parks of AZ to be like the one in Trailer Park Boys or some kind of dodgy drug-fueled place, but the one you visited in this video really changed my idea of the ones you have over there. I would not mind living in a park like that as a retiree at all!
Your camera work is not the best. Made me very dizzy. You said the outlet malls were barely holding on at the time this vid was made, 12/19. Wonder if they're gone now
Are you living in Arizona City, Reason I ask is it's one of the cities/towns I'm looking at . How is it?, Do they have all of the typical stores (Grocery, Home Improvement, Restaurants, Etc..) also are there any recreational areas there or near by
@@jamescastle5096 Most of the stuff that you’re looking for would be in Casa Grande. Not a bad drive for anything being about 15-20 min depending on the area of AZ City. Most desirable part is that’s it’s a lot cheaper than Casa Grande.
I love your show. As an artist, I was wondering if you could do a show about safe and affordable places where I might be able to relocate from the Midwest to set up a live/work studio/gallery. Are there any locations that have storefronts that are zoned for living above or onsite with an artist friendly area nearby?
💕😁Yay, enjoyed the ride to Casa Grand!!! I can’t wait to get back home to the West! Did we take a drive to Flagstaff? Thank you for sharing... Best wishes and prosperity to you!
Been through Casa Grande on a road trip earlier this year -it just seems like a boring hell -which is perfectly okay for some people. If that's what they want -fine. Cookie-cutter houses, and having to drive miles for doing practically anything.
I didnt realize you posted this...i googled hoping you had a video of this town and I lucked out. Reminds of Riverside (especially palm desert), only cheaper...about the only place...AZ housing market is getting like Ca.... Cali moved your way (while bringing their liberal vote, but I digress) ...the cancer is moving east.
What a load of crap. Looked like an AD for Palm Creek. He does not have a clue about CG. BTW the ruins are about 25 miles for CG near Coolidge, not on the outskirts of town.
Funny, I was looking at how it reminds me of where I live, Riverside, ca. Especially Palm Desert. I'm use to driving an hour of more to find anything to do.
As someone who lived there for 12 years I don’t recommend this place at all the education sucks there’s nothing to do it’s really crappy and a lot of crime
It's pronounced Cah-Sah Gran-Day. Americans should pronounce words in their native language. I want to build a nine hundred square foot desert home outside of Tucson.

Thomas a Kelso why and how did it happen?
Andy Casa grande is a poor area and couldn’t support the outlets so it was closed. You would think it would be a good thing I guess not.

Hi, I’m enjoying your videos, the game the elderly people are playing is lawn bowls, very popular in Australia
Kinda reminds me of some of the older suburbs outside of Chicago like Skokie, Evanston and Niles.
Thank you Jeff, many thanks, you're killing it with your videos 😃🙏!
All I thought was “WE ARE THE CASAGRANDES!” 👁👄👁
I like it not to big and not to small !! Will look into it ! I live in a super small town we only have a Walmart
You are wrong about it being the largest municipality in Pinal county. San tan valley has 80k, maricopa pushing 60k. Casa grande maybe like 50k.
alyssa t ah okay well San Tan Valley is not incorporated. So it is the largest incorporated city.
@@LivinginArizona san tan valley will probably be annexed by queen creek anyways lol
alyssa t yes probably a large chunk of it

When we moved to Arizona we checked crime rate 1st always a good thing to do. Second check the school rating report card w the village
