It is so true, our treasure, is not things, but people, and our love is speaking to our creator, just me , I was a treasure seeker of things, suddenly I awoke, I remembered not things in my life, but the treasure of people in my life, my animals, now the beauty of love, thank you Father. 🙏❤️👍👍

Great points about our “Stuff”. Just go to an estate sale… look at all that “Stuff” that means nothing to you that this now dead person held onto. Just let it go! My parents were hoarders and I hated it. It actually makes me feel good to get rid of my things I don’t need. Don’t get me wrong, I still have a lot of “Stuff”, mostly tools, but I regularly go through and pitch items I haven’t used in the past few years.
I love your videos, they always hit home on some level… cheers

@@maletenancedid you improved catheter make it to market. Just wondering because your videos related that subject were so helpful to many people and you had mentioned you had patented a better catheter setup.cheers

Good video. I would LOVE to be a minimalist but the spouse collects collects and collects "STUFF". We both grew up PAINFULLY poor and neglected. While I have basic "stuff", I take care and treasure "stuff" I deem important...I dont require a lot. The spouse finds value in all "stuff". Recently, a heating pad stopped working and it was actually burned brown. Spouse could see tossing the PAD part of it, but the cord could still be good. And so, the "stuff" accumulates and when we need something WE KNOW WE HAVE.... we cant find it. We actually have to go buy it. I believe the "STUFF" is far more important than me or any human at this point. Its sad really. Youre video was spot on about stuff and the difference in treasured gifts, belongings, and memories attached to People. People: the real treasure.

My beloved wife and I never amassed much "stuff." Whenever we bought new clothes we always donated the old ones. However let me give you a different perspective. My wife died suddenly. When our three daughters and I prepared for the funeral I left them alone in our home so they could divide among themselves my wife's items. All the jewelry was taken except our engagement ring which I kept. Many other items were donated to my daughter's church. However certain items remain. When I look at some items of clothing which still hang in our closet I do not see "stuff." I visualize how beautiful my beloved wife looked wearing such item of clothing. I can recall being with her when we selected an item of furniture. Thus I relive such moment. Please be kind to others who do not view mere items as "stuff." They may be treasuring past moments in their lives.

Hi and thank you for your comment. My intent with the video was not to be insensitive to ones possessions which hold wonderful memories, which I did mention in the video....keep sakes and mementoes. Maybe "possessions" would have been a better word than "stuff" but it's a much better word than "junk". Regardless, I do see your point and I am so sorry for your loss and how you took the video, which was more about accumulation and validation of who we are as people by what we own and how it can trap us.
The video has hit people differently depending on where and what they are going through in their lives.
Anyhow, thanks again for sharing. Cheers Tony
