Welcome to the Rawal Shri Mallinath Cattle Horse fair, also known as the Balotra Horse Fair, one of the leading horse fairs in India.
Held after the 11th day of Holi at Tilwara Balotra in Rajasthan, this 700-year-old traditional Rajasthani fair is a tribute to the Saint ruler of Malani Province, Rawal Shri Mallinath.
The fair attracts thousands of animal traders, rearers, shopkeepers, artisans, and rural folk from all over the country to the basin of the Maruganga Luni River near Tilwara.
Known by various names such as The Chaitri Mela, The Tilwara Mela, and Shri Mallinath Pashu Mela, this event is a celebration of rich cultural heritage.
The Balotra Horse Fair is famous for its horse breeds, including the Marwari, Sindhi Kathiyawadi, and the Punjabi Horse.
In addition to horses, various breeds of bulls, camels, and buffaloes are also brought for trade at this world-renowned fair.
