I remember this game, my parents bought me this game when I was 13. I just got the rumble pak. And just the level of detail and force feedback during that time was unparalleled. Out of all the N64 racing games maybe the exception of Beetle Adventure Racing have I never experienced a game that could come close.
@@RallyLancer95 yep. If a Dreamcast or PS2 racing game looked like this its because is a very poor quality racing game. This game only looks good compared to its own competitors for the 5th generation consoles. It pushed N64 capability to its limits but nothing more.

features an unusal driving handling but once you learn the subtleties it's very satisfying. A really good example of a serious style racer on N64 but definitely tricky to begin with on account of this initial difficulty. Those that truly stick with it however will be rewarded

The music is very awesome good sound and quality..
i recently got into playing this again a couple of weeks ago and i do agree the soundtrack is awesome. i especially like the main menu theme song and the song that plays during the cinematic showing off the track.
this pushed N64 quite well, definitely better graphics than every PS1 racing game. The gameplay is reasonable, not a masterpiece, but technicaly is top notch for the time. Almost PS2 levels
I disagree, PS1 racing games like NFS High Stakes, Porsche Unleashed had vehicles with interior and Toca Touring games released in 1999-2000 more graphics quality.
This are pretty rundementary graphics for 1999, it looks more like 1997, and it doesnt even run at stable framerate. CTR, Gran Turismo 2, Ridge Racer 4 or Formula One 2000 are much closer to PS2 levels than this.

Tentei emular ele e ficou bem ruim, mas rodou. Só ficou bem desconfortável de jogar. Creio que o Everdrive 64 roda sim pois ele simula o cartucho original. Mas faço o teste em meu ED64 mais tarde e te falo.
When you're used to PS1 graphics, any N64 game looks amazing. I felt this way back then too. But this game specifically really shows some of the best graphics on the N64. Imagine if they had licences for real cars.
PS1 textures tend to be pixelated compared to late N64 games due to having half the RAM of the N64. When you have a ton of cartridge space on N64, memory becomes less of an issue to allow you to make high quality textures such as here. Seriously. Compare Goldeneye 007 to Perfect Dark

Apesar que As Aventuras do Fusca é mais divertido xD Eu não gostei do áudio; trilha sonora sem consideráveis mudanças, fica "meio" repetitivo. O gráfico impecável, embora nas corridas à noite (em algumas situações) não tenha uma visibilidade perfeita. Jogabilidade típica de simulador, e todo o enredo do jogo foi bem realizado. Poderia ter mais opções de controle, mas enfim, é bom.

That's a Lie because i have Mupen64 FZ on Android and the best Settings (GlideN64 Very accurate) and still the Games crash immediately after the first Screen.

It's not about the settings, it's about some little changes in the emulation software. This is running on an actual N64 and cartridge from s-video. This game doesn't look good in emulators at all. It would not look like this if it was emulation.
infelizmente não roda no emulador, vergonha para a equipe do pj64 e a equipe do jabo, que se focam só no mario 64 que já ficou chato e maçante, faz 10 anos que poderiam ter se focado nos jogos mais maduros do 64, o World Driver é um jogo que tenho saudades e a ultima vez que joguei foi aos meus 10 anos, a 17 anos atrás, mesmo eu tendo memória boa, mal lembrava como esse jogo aparentava, e devo dizer, é mais bem feito do que as imagens que ficaram na minha memória

Desculpe, mas gravei o vídeo do console real, então não vou saber te falar com precisão. Que eu saiba esse jogo não tem problema de emulação. Tente baixar o Project 64 na versão mais recente e uma rom americana (U).

Bem, fiz uns testes aqui e realmente fica bem ruim. Eu troquei o plugin de vídeo para o Glide64 e ficou um pouco melhor. Já dá pra jogar bem pois dá pra ver bem os menus e não tem alguns daqueles bugs nos gráficos. Testa lá e depois me fala. Abraço.

For me, the best circuits were Las Vegas and Zurich. This game was amazing.

one of the best looking games on the n64 i'd say. they really squeezed a lot out of it. runs smooth, too without the expansion pack.
