Pelican is proving to be a huge pickup for the Reign. Mechanically he's masterful and it might get overlooked how smart Pelican is as a DPS. Even when they started out 1-3 you could tell he was a bright spot for the team. The man is always in the right position, seems to get the most out of his hero's abilities/cooldowns, and in general is just a nightmare for enemy teams. I don't know IBM Power Rankings are calculated but whether he's on there or not Pelican has been consistently outplaying enemy DPS lately (and the rest of the team). One example: Enemy team rushes in tries to overwhelm ATL...instead of staying to trade damage, Pelican (especially on Echo) ignores bulk of enemy team and dives enemy team support. Gets elim on enemy support and THEN he engages the team fight from the back and make them choose between taking free damage from him or contested damage from the rest of the team. And he positions himself so that if they do decide to turn on him he's got a way out. If he keeps playing like this and the Reign can continue playing well (IR1S has been a huge upgrade also) I think Pelican will start getting the attention he deserves. Edit: I commented before I watched. Well I watched, and he just went OFF. And not against the Valiant. Not against the Uprising. He just roasted the SF Shock. Pelican is no joke, guy is the real deal...
@@ZGTGaming That's cool dude, thanks for the reply. You're commenting negative things on a 1 year old comment I made before Pelican was a household name in the OW community and it's weird. Thinking some is try to "prove you're an omniscient being" is pretty weird too. You're actually coming off as sounding jealous that I made an observation about those 2 before everyone knew who they were (because I watch Reign matches and other people don't) and it's weird. Don't be upset I was right. Nothing in my comment implies "I told you so" or anything like that. It was a written account of my opinions and observations. The fact that those observations bother you 1 whole year later is.....super weird.
@@MLB_CoercedFreeman5OutOfATL everyone knew he was poised to be very good at this time man. Do I really need to say that? He’s also not the best owl player by any means. He’s in the conversation for best at his role but maybe top 5, not number 1
@@ZGTGaming Look this conversation is about to end, however.. 1) Not everyone knew about Pelican, there's no way you can say that as if it's a fact. Not everybody watches ranked or Contenders so I'm confident only a small group of people who pay attention to way more OW than the average fan knew how legit he was coming into OWL for his first season. 2) When I said that I hoped he started getting the attention he deserved I was referring to attention from OWL broadcasters and analysts, that OWL production start including him more as one of the top DPS, and that people outside of REIGN fans start to notice and pay attention to how good he is. 3) Nothing in my post or reply to you ever said or even suggested he was the #1 OWL DPS, so you're just deflecting. 4) What you're saying is still totally unrelated to the fact that you're going out of your way to make rude comments on a post from a Reign fan who was impressed and excited to actually have a top tier DPS on our team. And IR1S was just proving himself at this time too. Sorry if it upsets you when people get enthusiastic about their favorite team having exciting and unexpected new talent. Hope things get better for you and your need to look for negativity in things you aren't involved in fades. Best wishes, bro.

The line up is almost identical

so good
Mvp?
Should be using the reaper guy, he's strong against tanks and comes in from the side with the best special move
Where did you get this footage I thought Echo wasn’t real
His mechanical skill was painfully bad at the start
