Stressed to the max! I have already taken it twice and failed but passed all the other subjects. I put this off for so many months after failing but not anymore! I will be the first out of my mothers 8 children to finish school @ 32 years old and I know she's in heaven smiling and rooting for me. Pray for me youtubers!

@@carrottopgaming all of it is multiple choice questions besides the essay portion in the English. For that i recommend @purelypersistents essay videos. It was hard for me but I am not good at studying. As long as you study as much as you can and keep reviewing it will be easier

I subscribed to this channel several videos ago as a much needed review of the basic algebra skills that I seem to have let slip away over the many years ago. It's amazing to realize how much that I've forgotten!... I'm now 70 yo, and during high school in the late 1960's - early 1970's, was proficient enough to pass Grade 12, and then we needed it for the math formulas in the theory part of my 4 year electrician apprenticeship. Thank you for helping all of us who need these necessary skillsets!

I was kicked out of school district in the 8th grade for fighting and I had never been in trouble before, but I decided to go back and get my GED I'm 54 yrs. young and I'm going to take my last official test in Math and I'm praying I pass it this time!! So, I'm looking forward to graduating May of this year!! So, my question is do I need to write these questions down and study them?

Taking this math test for the 10th time next week. Just started with these videos. I pray that they help.. This is the final test needed to get my diploma. At 52 years olds this math has been kicking my butt😩😩

The instruction is very good. However, the video lacks one feature that is key to passing the GED test: multiple choice strategy. The inequality questions presented are too easy. The test can have up to 5 inequality questions.When do you flip the inequality? Also, very little is said about solving quadratic equations; there is no mention of the difference of two squares(in almost all tests, or the quadratic equation, or that the equation being solved must equal "0."
Thanks for the comment. We have some multiple choice strategies in this video. I agree we can add more. Also we have videos that are dedicated to that. Like our DECEMBER 2023 video was 100% multiple choice. Concerning what comes on the test and what informs the questions we choose, we are always opened to hear from people like you that have taken the test. on question 24 is it a mistake that the final result is squared? I checked a calculator and for the semi circle 3.14 * 2.5 ^2 / 2 = 9.8125 in .. not squared like it says. am I wrong. please reply thanks

Yes, you are doing something wrong. you are doing 360 ÷ 6000 x 0.03. This will give 0.0018. Which is wrong. I'll encourage you to get our course or watch our free videos on ORDER OF OPERATIONS. What you are supposed to do is multiply 6000 by 0.03 first to get to get 180. then divide 360 ÷ 180. This will give you 2. If you are doing it on the calculator, you have to put 6000 x 0.03 in parenthesis. so it will be 360 ÷ (6000 x 0.03). the 6000 and 0.03 are actually both dividing. You can also see it as 360 ÷ 6000 ÷ 0.03.

Order of operation. you have to put the 6000x0.03 in parenthesis if you are doing it on your calculator. so you'll have 360 ÷ (6000 x 0.03). This will effectively make it 360 ÷ 6000 ÷ 0.03. both the 6000 and 0.03 are actually diving.

My heart is in it now and its all scared because it all depends on this. I took the test years back and passed all but writing skills and the math but now they say ill have ro take it all over again.
How is 30 a product of 7 and no one uses this crap after high school why is this level even mandatory? I graduated in 1986 with remedial math because I couldn't grasp the concept of this type of math. Why isn't the GED basic remedial math? Geometry and fractions should even be included in the test.

The strategy is to understand the solution. And solve it yourself. The actual GED will be some form of twists to these questions.

Listen. Math is not like that. People passed the Test even though they did not solve all these 50 questions.
In question 24, can you put the squared for the pie instead of the 2.5? and still get the same answer?
No, that will be wrong. Squared is specific to a number. You can never move it around. If you have (π 2.5)^2. than you can do( π^2)(2.5^2)
