  • In this travel vlog, we give our first impressions of the Dead Sea in Israel. It is situated between the hills of Judaea to the west and the Transjordanian plateaus to the east.
In case you are new here, we are Will and Katy and we are a married couple that hopes to show you what it is like to travel around the world in 2024!

Just when you thought chafing couldn't get any worse! hehe... You know that salt is powerful if it got Will floating like that. Looks like a nice view too! cheers, witys! 🙂

Love the drone shots to start this one off, you both look so relaxed!! Cool descriptions of how the water feels, I always assumed it would feel like a syrup and not water but turns out I'm wrong. Make sure you spread that sun screen ultra thick in that heat - looks baking out there. Did Will fall asleep at the end? Great to have you back!

A very informative video, this is why everything and I mean everything leads back to the bible the salt you talked about reminds me when god destroyed sodom and gomorrah and how lots wife was turned into a pillow of salt and how king david found refuge here and in the time of herod the great it became one of the world's first health resorts the salts here was used for plenty of things some even say that noah used some of the black asphalt substance that washed up to seal the ark and of course in the bible it's called the sea of arab or the sea of salt in hebrew although this body of water is without life there are two prophecies that speak of the lord coming to earth and changing all that according to zechariah on that day living water will flow out of jerusalem and the lord will be king over the whole earth and their will be only one lord over everything and in ezekiel 47 8 and 9 says he said to me the water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into arabic where it enters the sea the water there becomes fresh swarms of living creatures will live there wherever the river flows so thank you witytravels for another amazing video from this biblical place called the dead sea 🌊

All very true. It's incredible to see, in person, the lasting effects of a group of people dishonoring God.
