Unfortunately, I have read repeatedly, that less than 10% of plastic is actually recycled. I've seen ads for detergent *sheets* ...no water, no bottle, just sheets, like dryer sheets. Reduce, reuse, recycle is good...but not _making_ plastic bottles is even better!
Cut off the top at the ‘shoulder’ but keep the handle. Put the bottle in the corner of the sink. When you rinse veg or salad or your hands, etc. put the bottle under the faucet to catch the ‘extra’ water. Use that water to rinse out a coffee cup before putting in dishwasher or to soak a pan, etc. It’s not perfectly clean but clean enough for a 2nd use. At the end of the day, toss the water on the lawn or water a container on the porch. Again, perfectly clean enough. You are saving twice: not paying for perfectly clean water to do intermediate use and so less water down the sink that your municipality or your septic system has to clean. The more processing done, the more chemicals, electricity, etc you pay for.

You just know that the blue ink is going to transfer from the bottle onto your fingers, and smear across the plastic, onto the counter tops and end up on everything other than your eyebrows.

What was actually used to cut the very thick plastic? No Exacto knife could do that, or even a box cutter.
Hello. I am using a paper cutting knife. If you find it difficult to cut, you can heat the plastic bottle along the line a little before cutting. Using a hair dryer or a heat gun.
It would totally shock me if one of you DYI Crackers would come up with the concept of show the finished project. Give me a list of things needed. We’re not mind readers and it’s your idea plus if you’re gonna take so long in least give us the information we need like a list of things needed get it got it good
