I was in bad sport once on ps4, late 21/early 22 and it was just a bunch of people hiding in their apts/businesses. I couldn't believe how dead it was, after hearing horror stories of how chaotic it was. 2 god mode griefers going at each other in bad sport is the epitome of GTA players in the last few years, so glad they finally opened up the private sessions so people can play in peace. Too little too late though, shoulda been done years ago.

Really the most impressive part about this is the lack of spam bots, and no modders kicked everyone off the server. It's pretty much better than the normal lobbies.
This was entertaining but also sad, look at how far griefers have fallen. They used to be feared by everyone but now they're just clowns, can't even take out someone in their oppressors since a good portion of players have Imani tech vehicles now. Goes to show how it basically required no skill to be a griefer when auto lock was the main weapon.
As someone who used to take this game serious and try hard and grief it really just seems like most of the true tryhards and griefers have quit playing. Now it’s just normal players who try to copy their footsteps have taken their spots . At least that’s how it’s looked like to me so far.

Some guy tp'd to me twice and used an rpg to kill me, he was in god mod of course. The third time he tp'd i manage to get him in a melee hit lock. He couldn't do anything. He ended having to teleport a few feet away from me and resorted to the rpg again. Honestly i feel bad for the guy

i was playing half an hour ago in a normal lobby and there was a dude shooting a minigun at a guy bashing him in the head with a hatchet and they just kept going at it in god mode lol

A tip for dealing with godmode players - Use a tank. Either the khanjali or rhino it doesn't really matter, although the khanjali is just better in every way plus you can call it with mechanic. Anyways, use the tank and run them over and stay on top of them until they die and then they'll be out of godmode and you can spawnkill them till they leave :)

I love taking my armored Karuma and going Ghost, then just run the God Mode user over again and again. They’ll eventually kill you, but they panic like crazy, trying to climb anything to get away from you..

Pro tip: Use free aim targeting mode for public lobbies. Because in free aim lobbies your gun cannot actually snap to the player head, that is the reason why they abandon these free aim public lobbies. If you want to get the high demand bonus per player, use free aim targeting mode. You will notice that your targeting mode is already on free aim assisted, to change this go to story mode > settings > controls > targeting mode > scroll to free aim and log in back to gta online. After that select go from the menu and it gives you a public lobby without any hackers or modders. 95% of modders and hackers mostly prefer the assisted aim full targeting mode. So don't worry because i myself tested the free aim tageting mode public lobbies and i have never been griefed NOT EVEN ONCE!!! By changing targeting mode, it will only change servers in public lobbies. And when you launch a public lobby once again, POOF ALL YOUR IMAGINERY GRIEFER WONDERS ALL GONE!!! Tested more than 1 year in free aim targeting mode public lobbies 100% working as of today. This comment is for pc players only

One of the best selling and most played games of all time, and cheating is accepted to a point they call these cheaters modders / hackers.. that's why I simply get my own lobby (with friends) 99% of the time

you have to only use the bounce method where you don’t use your right trigger and you use your left analog stick to make the bike bounce once you use your boost and while you’re doing that you can out run people get a good distance used to boost turn around with a full 180 market all the way up in fire and when it goes up and comes down it’s usually direct shot

This is exactly what happened to me yesterday lmao. Saw someone i had send in GM before, so i went GM, once he realized i was too we got in a police car and taser’d people lol. No cargo griefing, just harmless fun 😂
A few weeks ago i was playing the casino missions for Ma Baker solo and someone joined the mission right the second i set it to closed and i got a warning that doing that would give me "bad sport". Like, how is it my fault that they barely give me the time to set it to solo? Anyway, i always have my MTU on 850, because i have a lot of lag in a full lobby, but aside from the god mode, a normal lobby isn't that different. I played in a normal lobby with like 24 other people a few days ago, got my oppressor mk2 destroyed twice in the first 5 minutes just flying around, not even doing any missions or fighting any other players. I had to fast-travel my kosatka to the other side of the map, just to get away from those maniacs.
last time i was in a bad sport session, there was actually less idiots, cheaters, and hackers in there, then in the next 4 open sessions i was in. thing is that RS dont really send any of the cheaters to the bad sport lobby - its mostly the hackers and cheaters sending fair-play people to bad sport lobby.
First time i got into a "Bad sport" lobby was in 2013, when i managed to grind and purchased my first expensive vehicle, the Rhino tank. Then as griefers knew at the time you get bad sport points if you destroy player's vehicles, Of course i was driving the tank at the time and people kept driving their super cars into me under the tracks on purpose, destroying their cars. Shit has changed since those times. Interesting thing was back then, there were more pleasant people in Bad sport lobbies because everyone there wanted to do nothing and just get out of the lobbies FAST. And or people who didn't deserve to be in the lobbies were there also. at the last shot in the vid, that's a bona fide KD easy-way-out scumbag.
If you find someone in godmode you can keep on orbing them because it'll give you your money back bc the game thinks you didn't kill them, and it refunds you the money if you miss/dont kill a player. but it will still blow up their vehicle so you can essentially keep the gm griefers from getting in vehicles.
I feel like the dunce cap is... quite fitting for bad sport lobby modders... I'll admit that I've played with mods a decent amount, & there's so many layers of stuff you can use to stay out of bad sport (though I don't play hostile enough to need any of them) that honestly the really good griefers are going to be in good sport lobbies
Like he said, you have to actually work hard to get into bad sport lobby it's not easy. And it's pointless (at least on PC) because the regular lobbies are completely infested with bots and modders. Last time I tried to run a sell mission some guy piled a dozen Kosatkas on top of me on the freeway, then threw me (and my acid bike) from the casino to Vespucci beach, then froze my bike in the sky and kicked me off it. Then teleported everyone to the beach and fired nonstop orbital strikes across the entire map until the session crashed. So basically a normal day.

A few weeks ago i was playing the casino missions for Ma Baker solo and someone joined the mission right the second i set it to closed and i got a warning that doing that would give me "bad sport". Like, how is it my fault that they barely give me the time to set it to solo? Anyway, i always have my MTU on 850, because i have a lot of lag in a full lobby, but aside from the god mode, a normal lobby isn't that different. I played in a normal lobby with like 24 other people a few days ago, got my oppressor mk2 destroyed twice in the first 5 minutes just flying around, not even doing any missions or fighting any other players. I had to fast-travel my kosatka to the other side of the map, just to get away from those maniacs.

last time i was in a bad sport session, there was actually less idiots, cheaters, and hackers in there, then in the next 4 open sessions i was in.
thing is that RS dont really send any of the cheaters to the bad sport lobby - its mostly the hackers and cheaters sending fair-play people to bad sport lobby.
So basically a bad sport lobby is just a regular ass lobby but everyone has dunce hats lol. Seems the same to me 😂

Literally every lobby I get into now there’s at least 1 or 2 players in God Mode and they just reek havoc. Can’t even have fun playing the game.

First time i got into a "Bad sport" lobby was in 2013, when i managed to grind and purchased my first expensive vehicle, the Rhino tank. Then as griefers knew at the time you get bad sport points if you destroy player's vehicles, Of course i was driving the tank at the time and people kept driving their super cars into me under the tracks on purpose, destroying their cars. Shit has changed since those times.
Interesting thing was back then, there were more pleasant people in Bad sport lobbies because everyone there wanted to do nothing and just get out of the lobbies FAST.
And or people who didn't deserve to be in the lobbies were there also.

Bad sport lobbies is just like going to jail ! You get in as an occasional car thief and you get out as a professional criminal ! 😆
If you find someone in godmode you can keep on orbing them because it'll give you your money back bc the game thinks you didn't kill them, and it refunds you the money if you miss/dont kill a player. but it will still blow up their vehicle so you can essentially keep the gm griefers from getting in vehicles.
I feel like the dunce cap is... quite fitting for bad sport lobby modders... I'll admit that I've played with mods a decent amount, & there's so many layers of stuff you can use to stay out of bad sport (though I don't play hostile enough to need any of them) that honestly the really good griefers are going to be in good sport lobbies
Like he said, you have to actually work hard to get into bad sport lobby it's not easy. And it's pointless (at least on PC) because the regular lobbies are completely infested with bots and modders. Last time I tried to run a sell mission some guy piled a dozen Kosatkas on top of me on the freeway, then threw me (and my acid bike) from the casino to Vespucci beach, then froze my bike in the sky and kicked me off it. Then teleported everyone to the beach and fired nonstop orbital strikes across the entire map until the session crashed.
So basically a normal day.
