Excellent choices Jason. Cycle of the werewolf is actually my favorite Stephen King book. And coincidentally I just purchased The Amityville Horror this week. When I first read The Amityville Horror back in 1978 I lived way out in the woods and I read it at night after work and it scared me silly. I also have The Exorcist and yeah, that one is scary. Those are some scary ones. I wasn't reading when The Exorcist book or movie came out but I still knew about the film! When The Amityville Horror film came out I knew it was scary and read the book a few years later. {Some things that happened to me and my family members over the years made books and movies like these extra scary!} Thank you very much. Have you experienced the paranormal? I remember watching the Exorcist from behind my parents back as they sat on the couch watching it. They thought I was sleeping. It gave me nightmares for years. And the second horror movie I saw was Salem's Lot. I was too young to read the books back then too. But when I did they still scared the hell out of me. The Exorcist is also a very pretty, moving novel. Blatty said he was really trying to write a book about faith.
