I have what some consider an odd hair style. It was previously shaved on the left side and I've been growing it out, and I cut the other side extremely short (the "long" side's longest layer just barely touches my shoulder). It's also dyed so that the shorter side is dark brown and the other side is blonde. Anyways, to get to the point, I did this hairstyle and wore it to school and everyone LOVED it. Thanks Bunny!
Love this hair style! Will defo try it when I have longer hair. You have got so much more loud and confident since this video, in a good way! You've changed loads. I love you Bunny, you're so funny and beautiful :)
I had to come find this after watching your new video, I’m so glad there’s a tutorial, thank you!!! I’ve seen so many “faux mohawk” tutorials but none of them work with short layers like mine, but your method looks totally doable and I’m going to go try it out now! I love you! 🙌🏻
I second the year old comments on breaking out the faux hawk again. I just watched this video in 2017 because I needed a post-apocalyptic road warrior look and I also live in the South. (Not to mention I think I might be a bit older than you) If I can rock it today, you can totally rock it.
"I just literally sprayed that into my eye... That was hot." Omg😂😂 bunny would never say that last part now. It's crazy seeing videos from this far back.
I just have to say one thing (being a cosmetology student) it may SEEM like you're holding a crimper in your hair for 20 seconds, but you should only actually hold it in your hair for each group of strands for 3 seconds. When you're waiting, it just feels like a lot longer. I want to clarify that so we don't get people trying this and literally counting 20 seconds and burning their hair off like that one girl on TH-cam.
I tried this exact same hair style but kind of defined the poof in the front more and added a bandana type headband thing to it and found it looks absolutley gorgeous! I ended up wearing my hair like this to a summer music festival and surpisinly it stayed all day as well.
This might be my favorite "older" bunny video. Between hair spraying her eye and the muppet references, you can tell she has never really changed, and always been her true crazy hippie self!
i love it that ur not a hair artist and u look like an everyday girl doing her hair. this looks a lot more doable than say a hairstyle by someone who has been to school for hair! :D
bunny you are BEAUTIFUL with or with out makeup. i love you and your videos. please dont ever stop making them!!!! you make my day with your quirky-ness and all that. i love how weird you are and i guess. thats how we do it on the swamp :)
As soon as the tutorial started, I was like "Good Gravy!! Where's my volume button?!?" LOL did not expect such a robust personality! But it was such a JOY to watch ur silly personality. Great style, lovely presence. Definitely subscribing -3 keep it up toots!
I never used dry shampoo... But when you said you always use dry shampoo, I bought a bottle and now, I´m going crazy with it!!! Very cool style, sadly my hair is way too short, well, I could try it anyway :-)
I actually tried this on my homecoming night, and learned that over 2ft of hair, that's also un-naturally thick, makes this hair style nearly impossible, definitely cutting it before the concert
Omg brilliant! Been wanting to try the Mohawk or coif/quiff style but couldn't get it right after the first time I got it, and couldn't find the right video. But this one is perfect!!!!
I loved it! I didnt crimp my hair because I dont have a crimper so I did my hair super straight instead. I super fail at styling my own hair but this is pretty easy to pull off :)
Just FYI, I know this is one of your older videos, but I thought I'd post this here in case someone (like me) is a new subscriber and is looking back through your old tutorials... if you do NOT have a crimper and don't want to buy one, there is a very easy way to crimp your hair. The night before you want to do this style, wash your hair and braid it in lots of small braids while it is still wet. The next day when they are dry, when you take the braids out your hair will be crimpy!! :)
this reminds me of my competition cheerleading hair style we have to do a poof and pony tail with curlled hair and then we have to jack our hair up to jesus (as we say in the south) /tease it so this really reminded me of that. Love the video btw
Hey got to say ive been watching your videos for a while and i think your amazing, Great sense of humour love! Love this hairstyle too, gona try it tomoro for my friends 21st :) keep up the banter bunny xxx
In the beginning I really didn't like it. But then I was like "HOLY CRAP IT IS BEAUTIFUL." Your eyes are sooooo gorgeous by the way. AND, you are sooo funny! xD
This looks sooo cool! Not sure if I'll try it in public though..cause I'm a big girl and big girl with big hair.. ? Might get stuck in a door.. *just kidding* Love your tuts..well, actually all your vids.. You could read from a phone book and you'd make it fun! Love the "singsang" of your voice.. Can't think of an english word.. The sound how you speak words..like a speaking melody.. Maybe or something.. Duh..
I did this, and once I took it down I looked like Einstein. LOL. Took forever in the shower with a bottle of conditioner to get out, but its worth it. Wearing it out again tonight!
I've done a faux hawk on my hair before and I have it cut in a somewhat undercut pixie. Depending on your features and what not, you won't look like a lesbian. I know I look fine with my hair like that and nobody has ever asked me if I was lesbian when I wore it. Just go for it. =P
Mine was my first ever and it took a good 2 years to heal. I had keloids that lucky went away with tea bag soaks after awhile. It was also my most painful one to date and I've had 27 that I can recall over much life. I obviously don't still have all of them nor did I ever have them at the same time. It's 12 years later though and I still love it. It's worth it. Yeah it's painful but the pain is only temporary and last a min or two.
oh this is awesome but how on earth do u get all that back combing out? just wondering beause i would love to try this i just need to know how to get that all out
Exactly. This could be her nervous and acting and trying to be professional so people watch her and don't go "whoa this girls crazy" and not watch anymore. And now is her out of her shell and comfortable and not giving a shit.
I have what some consider an odd hair style. It was previously shaved on the left side and I've been growing it out, and I cut the other side extremely short (the "long" side's longest layer just barely touches my shoulder). You look amazing with no makeup on! This is my favorite look of yours :) natural beauty!
I want to see Bunny wearing this now. In present time.
Andrea Barboza Her latest video shows her wearing it!
Love this hair style! Will defo try it when I have longer hair. You have got so much more loud and confident since this video, in a good way! You've changed loads. I love you Bunny, you're so funny and beautiful :)

@beckywecky107 nope!! i bought it from urban outfitters!! :)
Anyone who has super thin hair... this takes A LOT of time and patience, but this hairstyle makes thin hair look AWESOME. Thanks Bunny!

@Airkitten2001 it never really has done any damage?? maybe i have strange hair??
You can back comb your hair, it makes it seem thicker and also makes it stay more :) hope i helped
Wow, Bunny, I love this! And I'm 72 years old!! Yiu rock, girl!
Wow you don't look 72 from your picture. I hope this doesn't come off as rude but good for you!!
No way in Hell you're 72! You're hotter than me and I'm 18. This isnt fair.
+Devyn Crump I'm sure it is a joke..
+.Gotikcool I think she might be serious tbh
Devyn Crump its impossible.-.
@driedapricots7 when i was my hair it all just straightens out!! maybe i have strange hair??
First video of yours that I ever watched
almost 4 years ago now! This is the video that made me explore your channel
Love how she's ashamed of not wearing makeup in the filming and now its like every video makeupless
you can find crimpers at thrift stores as well, they were big in the 80's/90's , I have a great one that I bought for about $3
This might be my favorite "older" bunny video. Between hair spraying her eye and the muppet references, you can tell she has never really changed, and always been her true crazy hippie self!
I realized how extremely beautiful you are when you had the shaggy dog hair at the start and I became envious how well you pull it off. So pretty.
@ItsMissSasha trying to think of some more, but i'd love to!! :)
awwww flashback to little young bunny
she was so calm
i love it that ur not a hair artist and u look like an everyday girl doing her hair. this looks a lot more doable than say a hairstyle by someone who has been to school for hair! :D

I never used dry shampoo... But when you said you always use dry shampoo, I bought a bottle and now, I´m going crazy with it!!!
Very cool style, sadly my hair is way too short, well, I could try it anyway :-)

@Agiordano457 none. lulz. no really!! :P

Aww your hair was so so cute when you had your hair down and crimped! From cute to punk, awesome x
omg! you should so do it! i think the longer the hair the more amazing. i am jelly!
i want to watch all the beauty gurus but your just my favorite right now!
Her eye color is just SOOO AMAZING!
more of a sculpture than a hairstyle:) looks great!
Crimper cheat: Wrap hair around something long and skinny, like a chopstick, pencil, or rat-tail comb, and apply heat with a straightener.
I actually tried this on my homecoming night, and learned that over 2ft of hair, that's also un-naturally thick, makes this hair style nearly impossible, definitely cutting it before the concert
Its a lovely hair style and that color makes it more special!
Omg brilliant! Been wanting to try the Mohawk or coif/quiff style but couldn't get it right after the first time I got it, and couldn't find the right video. But this one is perfect!!!!
@rawrsophiex great suggestion!! i'll have to try that!! :)
This was amazing!! Do more hair and makeup tutorials? I'm in love with this style! Definitely trying this tonight to see if I can "master" it (:

This is so awesome, I'm going to attempt to do this for my bday party tonight!!! Thank you for the tutorial!!!!
How did it turn out?? I want to try this hairstyle too but I'm not very good at doing my own hair...
I loved it! I didnt crimp my hair because I dont have a crimper so I did my hair super straight instead. I super fail at styling my own hair but this is pretty easy to pull off :)
Woohoo. Thank you for the tutorial. I need to do a Faux Mohawk for my winterguard show. I thought I'd be hard but damn, that's really easy. :D
Yeah go winterguard :)

It's weird you saying HEB because Im from Texas too but I dont live there anymore and I miss Texas. It's awesome you know about that store too!
this reminds me of my competition cheerleading hair style we have to do a poof and pony tail with curlled hair and then we have to jack our hair up to jesus (as we say in the south) /tease it so this really reminded me of that. Love the video btw
You look amazing! I have such thin hair it would all fall out. Hair spray makes my hair straw like
@hippieXOlover ohhhhh thats an awesome idea to wear it to a dance!! :)
Definitely going to try something like this at some point. Not as big and without crimping but I like the safety pins.
Bunny you look so pretty without makeup! I never knew...
That was awesome... "Shutter Island is kinda my dream home"
I love the way your voice sounds when it's sped up.
It's a nice punkish touch.
I personally adore the idea.
Are her eyes naturally that colour? They're incredible
Yes they are c; aren't they gorgeous
Bunny we need a review on different kinds of crimpers
tried this and it came out A-MAZING i did it for worlds greatest shave crazy hair day :D:D thankyou so much for the tutorial

My dad told me when I was little my hair looked like a rats nest 😛😛😛😛
xD my mom always said that to me

you can find hair strengtheners where you can change parts so it can make it straight or curly..
Gosh I love your eyes!
SO BLUEEE
Hey Bunny, what camera do you use? The quality is always so great!
Omg these were the days with signature black and blonde bunny
But she will always be amazing no matter her hair color
It's so stunning! I will definitely have to try this :)
looks great with short hair!
i've decided to have my hair like yours for halloween.. so inspiring :)
you look amazing without makeup!
I did this, and once I took it down I looked like Einstein. LOL.
Took forever in the shower with a bottle of conditioner to get out, but its worth it.
Wearing it out again tonight!
you crack me up!! love the hair style btw
I've done a faux hawk on my hair before and I have it cut in a somewhat undercut pixie. Depending on your features and what not, you won't look like a lesbian. I know I look fine with my hair like that and nobody has ever asked me if I was lesbian when I wore it. Just go for it. =P
You shoul make a video talking about your industrial bar!!! I want one so bad! But I'm scared 😂
Anastazjamua It's not nothing. Keloids and Scarring can happen easily no matter the piercer. :) The after care is important. ^-^
She has one really old video that talks about all her piercings
Mine was my first ever and it took a good 2 years to heal. I had keloids that lucky went away with tea bag soaks after awhile. oh this is awesome but how on earth do u get all that back combing out? just wondering beause i would love to try this i just need to know how to get that all out
You can get a crimper semi like that at walmart they got tons of them I used to have one they worked semi goodish
You act so much more natural here.
I think she still acts natural, its just now, 3 years later, she's more comfortable so she shows her weirdness too, ya know
Less obnoxious too. Oh well though
Exactly. This could be her nervous and acting and trying to be professional so people watch her and don't go "whoa this girls crazy" and not watch anymore. And now is her out of her shell and comfortable and not giving a shit.
@lollydop54 THANK YOU!!
Bunny, how often do you wash your hair? I mean what's the max amount of days you go till your next wash?
I just tried this ! OH MY GOD! It looks amazing!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
i did it along with you, and it is REALLY cool!!! thanks love ya
I still have and use my crimper from 17 years ago! My daughter love it =)
