Excellent review! do have the same figure and I am really happy with it. I have mine set up like how the 3rd brigade 82nd airborne lrrps would have their equipment set up so its a little different than yours.( I am a bit of a nerd for lrrps) The tape I found that if you cut it longways making really long pieces of tape, its easier to wrap it around the rifle and looks a lot cleaner. It is interesting to note that the real life lrrps in vietnam would use tape to make the camouflage patterns on their rifles. they would also use it to tape down the grenades on their suspenders and basically any other thing that rattled. The patch is the Military Assistance Command Vietnam patch (they oversaw all operations during the war) with the ranger tab symbolizing that he went to Ranger School in the states. Great reveiw as always and I look forward to the next one!
Ujindou has been knocking it out of the park with their Nam figures and sort of Nam era Operation Eagle Claw Delta Force figure. Between QO and Ujindou I think there have been more Nam releases and pre-orders since 2022 than in the last 10 years.
He looks great, Sir Mathus. It seems since the War on Terror is over we're now getting more figures from times past. In the military, that type of hat is called a boonie hat. It's still worn by U.S. forces. That camo pattern is called "tiger stripe" - it was first introduced during the Vietnam War, and is still used by some countries today, including some U.S. special forces. Those kinds of boots are hard to find when kit-bashing.
Great looking figure based on apocalypse now.
Thanks for watching!
8:14 That is a first aid/compass pouch & 9:14 is a 2 quart canteen cover
Thanks for the info!

Thanks bro! I appreciate all the information! Like I said, I'm not super knowledgeable on the Vietnam War so information like this is helpful to me :)

Thanks! I appreciate the info as I don't know as much about the Vietnam War.
The boonie hat is more historically accurate for the lrrp, the helmet is if you want to go for the Apocalypse Now look
Nice figure and great review😀
Thanks dude!
FIGURON y gran pelicula, yo lo tengo y en la mano aun se ve mejor el tigre
the big empty pouch you have holds the bigger canteen, did you not get one with your fig?
Thanks, that would make sense! I completely forgot about that canteen when I opened the figure a few weeks ago.
it looks way cool!
Thanks bro!
Very Nice
Thanks!
I love old Gijoe figures. These figures are too expensive for the common poor consumer.
