I love mine, can be a bit flakey sometimes, but nothing serious, I run my Blu OS streamer through it via the coax input, and the sound is amazing. Before that I used blutooth with my phone and got 96k with LDAC.
I've got the qutest. It's a Hugo 2 without the extras. Sound wise it's identical. It's going to be in a different league to the ifi. But it's an unfair test given the price and technical differences between the two.
I bet you did not used the Qutest , with a Farad linear source . That is a game changer and makes the Qutest one of the best sounding ,,dac"'s in the world, regardless price.
@Car Guy daddyo if you have a 4000 dollar DAC, then you should at least spend the same on amplifier and speakers to make the DAC worthwhile investment.
Thanks for a great comparison! Please review the new LUMIN u2 mini. I’m really curious about that one!
According to Amazon, this has a rudimentary remote control. Does yours, and is it sufficient? My amps don't have remotes.

@@aussie8114 a bit difficult sometimes to get started. I boxed it because it just seemed redundant in my system

Thanks great review

The place you should spend most is on speakers and amplifier. There is less difference between DACs.
@Car Guy daddyo I still mean what I say. Amplifier and speakers makes more impact than the DAC.
