Question. With the solid top link how does it work when the front axel goes up in a dip back of tractor is down and tail wheel is uphill? Normally they use a chain for top link so mower can follow dips and doodles, solid top link makes it rigid from front axle to tail wheel
@@rogermorrill4700 my bushhog has a pivoting top link connection, so it will follow the dips and doodles pretty well. I do set my lift so on level ground the bushhog cuts level.
How old are yah ? I’m 60 you remind me of me . What state are you in ? What was the tractor you had before the John Deere? I have to see if I can raise the wheel on my brush hog , that’s a cool feature . I have a land pride . I enjoy watching your tractor videos, not to much in the electronic things you do but it’s a neat skill to have . I like how you up grade them . I have a Ford 1900 4 x 4 with a loader its old school with out the quick release but those grapples do the job . Nothing like being a big kid . I enjoy your videos, I enjoy the entertainment .
I’m a little older than you. Kentucky I had a Ford 1500 with loader , it was too small to do much. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoy the tractor videos, I try to make videos on lots of different subjects.
Enjoying your video so far...couple quick questions.... I'm looking to buy the same tractor...anything you don't like about it? What size trailer is yours? Thanks in advance...Greg
I haven’t found anything I don’t like , it is a small tractor but if you don’t try to do things with it that need a larger frame tractor I highly recommend it. My brother has a 3032 which is more HP but the same frame , he’s had a couple of hiccups with his, mainly on running the regen cycle you have to do on the motor occasionally. That’s what I like about mine , 25 hp so no Regen or DEF required on the engine. My trailer is a 14ft , as you may have seen in the videos I have to fold up the rear bushhog wheel when hauling it. So maybe a 16 ft trailer would have been better. Glad you enjoyed the video, if you haven’t subscribed, please consider it , lots of videos on the JD 3025e
@GM-xb6hy I’ve had mine 7 years , they had zero percent financing for 84 months. I was planning on buying one and paying for it immediately but they mentioned the Free interest 84 month financing so couldn’t resist that 😀
No front hydraulics needed on the Brush Crusher 4200 Grapple like I have , it hooks up just like the JD Front Buckets. Remove 2 hitch pins , unhook the bucket , hookup the Grapple , reinstall the pins. Here’s a video of mine that shows hooking up the grapple and using it th-cam.com/video/GhrYVWUv0gs/w-d-xo.html 30 acres is a lot of bushhogging , I have a 4ft , would take me a long time. I can bushhog about an acre an hour but that’s in woods, stumps , trees etc.. in clear land you could probably bushhog 2 acres an hour with a 4 ft hog. I’ve heard of guys using up to a 6ft hog on a 3025e but I’m sure that depends on how tall the grass or weeds are. The reason I bought my 3025e is No DEF or Regin because it’s less than 25 HP Thanks for watching, if your not a subscriber hope you consider subscribing to our channel
Just wondering, do you have any problems lining up the splines on your PTO drive shaft?? Can you freely spin the PTO to line up splines ?? On my 3025 E the PTO will not spin in neutral. I have to spin the brush hog, or any implement to hook up the drive shaft. This is a pain in the keester. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have had it back to the dealership and their no support at all. Kinda gives John Deere a bad name.
PTO shaft on my tractor won’t spin even with tractor in neutral, or completely off. Yes I have to turn the pto shaft on the implements to align it. Guess it has something to do with the electric clutch on the PTO , other new tractors may be the same , I’m not sure. Thanks for watching
You are living my dream. Great video budd.

I’m thinking about buying a 3025E. Did you have to add any hydraulics to use your grapple?

Sorry, one more question - do you think the 3025E is large enough for 30 acres?
