I was, until this trailer came out. Marcus and company are way to human. The crying, anger, desperation etc are exactly human-like. They just "awakened", so their actions should be more about decisions based on predictions, between probabilities, and with just a little of emotion on it. At the end of the trailer we have the girl crying for a RANDOM android(one they just "liberated"), so she probably hardly knew. Their whole riot is actually stupid when you consider they are supposed to be more rational. For MARCUS PATH, liberating the androids, being their teacher and protector, forced to be on the run, would be better than a riot. In other words QuanticDreams should have found a middle ground on the androids behavior(not quite human). I thought they did when I saw the Connor trailer, I'm not so sure anymore.
Do you realize you are just agreeing with me?. It's about these androids "becoming human", right?, that being the endgoal, not them being already exactly human-like. Even the body movement that goes with what is happening is already to human, and I could even add that a lot of it is pointless since they are not made of flesh and bones. Like the title and you yourself suggest the game should focus on the androids becoming "alive" and all that. This trailer was all about "fighting the power", and "servants raising against their masters". With all that said, I'm not going to dismiss the game cause of this one trailer.

Rodrigo Mafort actually it looks like a generic QuanticDreams game since QuanticDreams did choice based gameplay long before infamous even existed (look up farenheit for the PS2) I'm just hoping the story doesn't go too Sci Fi; David Cage has a bit of a reputation for shoehorning fantasy elements into his game, in fact in Heavy Rain Ethan Mars was originally going to be psychic but the idea got scrapped, this is the reason why Ethan Mars's strange blackouts are never really explained; because they're part of a plot point that was deleted from the game
I'm guessing they'll be 3 main protagonists/playable characters. 1. Kara ( A regular Cyberlife; a slave to humans; has her own aspirations and ambitions, but doesn't know how to express herself or she's too afraid) 2. Marcus ( A rebellious Cyberlife; leader or part of an organization or group that believes in justice for the Androids; confident and will do anything to take a stand) 3. Nice Guy Cyberlife (Forgot his name) - (An Android that works as a sort of FBI or detective for the humans; trusts in the humans and maybe works to stop rebellious Cyberlifes like Marcus; works professionally and follows the humans( That's what I'm getting from these teasers and now I'm super psyched for this game. (I've been psyched since that extra in Heavy Rain about Kara)

+Patrickthepro Detonating an EMP in this scenario where the entire city runs almost entirely on electricity-driven technology (e.g. the driverless vehicles) would shut off all running water, transportation, security, communication and other important technologies. An EMP would disable the androids but at the cost of the entire city being thrown into the Stone Age. P.S. Makes sure to watch some gameplay videos of the game so you can see what I mean when I say "driverless cars" etc.

I get the idea that certain decisions will make the game very short or end up being basically the same and the game will basically force you down a few main paths. Like FO4 dialogue options.

It could just be me, but whenever I play this game, it always reminded me of how Black people were viewed years ago and how hard they fought to have equal rights like their White counterparts. This is nice, yes, but, IRL, unless the robot (i'm too lazy to check if Android and Gynoid work backwards as well, IE, a machine that is augmented with human, biological components) is pre-programmed with a human like personality, then all Marcus is doing is imprinting his virus on other bodies with virus + hardware potential. That's the thing that people just don't seem to get, and it's weird because SciFi writers have figured this out ever since the 3 laws, to be able to surpass something, you must be it, and more. The human brain, in all its complexity, we've barely even scratched the surface, let alone achieved the point where we can syntax something on a silicone (or otherwise) based system, that even remotely reaches the potential it has. NOW, if someone were to use an actual human brain as Hardware for a computer...then color me intrigued. So far, we're struggling for a head transplant because el Honcho forbid, we'd let medicine reach higher grounds on accounts of "morality". Tight fist, moving up, and down.

I get the idea that certain decisions will make the game very short or end up being basically the same and the game will basically force you down a few main paths. Like FO4 dialogue options.

It could just be me, but whenever I play this game, it always reminded me of how Black people were viewed years ago and how hard they fought to have equal rights like their White counterparts. I’m not updated on new games’ releases, but I wish they would make a sequel to their game. Quantic Dreams popped off on this one 🔥

This is nice, yes, but, IRL, unless the robot (i'm too lazy to check if Android and Gynoid work backwards as well, IE, a machine that is augmented with human, biological components) is pre-programmed with a human like personality, then all Marcus is doing is imprinting his virus on other bodies with virus + hardware potential.
That's the thing that people just don't seem to get, and it's weird because SciFi writers have figured this out ever since the 3 laws, to be able to surpass something, you must be it, and more. The human brain, in all its complexity, we've barely even scratched the surface, let alone achieved the point where we can syntax something on a silicone (or otherwise) based system, that even remotely reaches the potential it has.
NOW, if someone were to use an actual human brain as Hardware for a computer...then color me intrigued. So far, we're struggling for a head transplant because el Honcho forbid, we'd let medicine reach higher grounds on accounts of "morality".

Considering what i was expecting from this game...not impressed. Not engaged. I foresee just another epicly bland plot. IF the premise is a cube, no matter how spherical the turn is, it still won't cover it. AND in a good story, all elements have equal mass.
