    That was one of the best loader install videos I’ve seen. I didn’t realize by curling the bucket you could push the stand into place. I hope to get a loader for mine one day. I do have the valve already.

    Use a paint pen to mark the bolts (across the bolt down to the frame) after checking the torque. If the lines don't match then you know they came loose and need to be checked again.

    A little advise from me I have a bx23s I decided to take the loader of on what I thought was a lvl surface being I didn't have a concrete pad to take it off on I took it off no problems went to put it back on I locked the loader locks like you did went to put it on apparently when I rolled the bucket to lock he in the bucket dug down into dirt which didn't give it enough to lock the left side it locked the right so I went to raise the loader and the left side popped off the loader support and I couldn't unlock the right side. I had to put the loader in a bind sideways to pick it up enough to get a block under bucket to get pressure enough to release the lock on right side I was nearly crying thinking I bent my loader. Unhooked my manifold lined up my loader plugged in my manifold and the right piston wouldn't work now by that time the wife walked up to see this fiasco. So I unhooked the 4 way coupler one more time and reconnected it and hydraulics worked locked the locks I only scratched the left piston a little with the grille guard nothing was broke thank GOD to I put the backhoe on to and I'll just cut the grass with it all on until I get a pad poured so I can get that stuff off. But locking both locks before I got it to latch in there was a bad idea if you do it in the dirt lol.

    How's she goin'? That was a fine job prepping the tractor for spring!!! Getting the loader on and off will become 2nd nature after you do it a few times. It sure hooks up pretty easy eh!!! Thanks for sharing and take care!!!

    I'm wondering if the tractor is really suppose to be running with hydraulics hook up. Seems like a lot of pressure is involved on the quick coupler?

    Thanks for the reminder on the torquing- just did my second mow this season here in NC.
    Those Lock-n-lube are super for greasing
    Appreciate your attention to detail and cleanliness. Guess that’s something us ‘older’ guys are used to 👍 -Jake

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I guess so 😉, the Lock-n-lube is great but sometimes it’s too long, tried greasing some spots on my Lawn tractor and I just couldn’t get it to connect properly, wish JD positioned the zerks differently or at least at an angle, I think the Lock-n-lube is pretty popular 🤷🏼‍♂️, have a great week Jake and thanks for watching 👍🏻

    I just hit 39 hours on my 2020 BX 1880 so my first real maintenance isn't far away and it will be warmer when I do it. I noticed you have a blue shop towel plastic tied to the end of your geese gun. I have a brand new 18 volt Ryobi grease gun that I'm anxious to use for the first time. I liked your video and I'm still waiting for my quick change bucket system which is on back order.

      Salut Alain, il est parfait pour mes besoins, tout dépend de ce que tu veux faire avec. Je pense connaître c’est limite et exemple je vais pas essayer de ramasser une roche trop grosse ou un arbre 😉, j’adore mon BX et j’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir avec cette hiver 👍🏻. Peu importe le tracteur tu choisis tu vas avoir du plaisir 🙂👍🏻 Bon magasinage 🙂😉. Si tu es dans la région de l’Outaouais passe voir Michel Poirier chez Carrière Poirier à Alfred, Ontario.
