I got the Yoshi, boomerang mario, penguin mario, fire mario and question block mario ones as a kid, they were available in the Netherlands too. Starting to feel like Asia and Europe get specific selections, and then america gets specific selections seperately.
oh my god i remember getting these toys in happy meals when i was a kid, i was so avid about collecting them that we would ask the cashiers if they could give us the specific toys that i needed to complete the set (hell, i'm pretty sure i have most of them in a box somewhere still). it was stupidly fun just messing around with them and i'm so glad that americans are finally seeing these!

I actually went to the Philippines during that year they were in McDonald's so I was able to get the boomerang and the fire Mario
I remember having the Yoshi, Peach and the Mario in the pipe when it first was made
6:05 I actually own a McDonalds toy like this one, It’s not the exact same one though.
Difference being that It Isn’t battery operated, instead having a like a sliding button for sliding Mario up or down (with a cute little M emblem on the button) and a star coming out of the block when Mario hits It.
It makes sense once you make a full analysis on how most people use these toys. Step 1 open. Step 2 throw away/donate. 7:21

I live in Ireland and McDonalds had these toys. I got the pipe and ? Block. The ? Block is supposed to play the coin sound. I still have them to this day.
