Your autumn window display is outstanding! Takes me back to a simpler time when I was a young bride. I have and still use many of your items. I even had the harvest gold stove and refrigerator in 1975. Thank you for all your hard work.
Beautiful windows for the autumn season. I remember the ads for the Pyrex vision pans when they were introduced in the UK, you could see the water boiling all through the pan!! It was amazing! 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍁🍂🍁
Your fall windows look especially grand at night with the lighting enhancing the autumnal colors👏🍁. That light fixture in your first window I remember my sister had one exactly like it in her dining area in the 70’s🍁. Hard to believe we are into October already🍁🎃 Thanks
Hi Kevin When I got married in 1965 I had all coppertone appliances. The electric range even had a outlet built in. Which was very useful. The window display brings back a lot of memories. I love the autumn season. Wonderful window display as usual. Hi to Marianne 🎃🕸️🍁
Thanks so much, Delphine! I always thought the coppertone color was nice looking. The outlets on the old ranges really came in handy. Give the gang our best wishes!! Happy Halloween!
Your display windows are beautiful! My hubby would love that quilt! What wonderful craftsmanship. The kitchenaid dishwasher is a beauty as well and a real workhorse.
Thanks, Corey! That quilt is really beautiful - I'm going to buy extra tickets this year! The KA dishwasher is one that I use regularly at the Cavalcade and it is a great performer. Thanks!
I still have my avocado green Oster Kitchen Center. The kids laugh every time I bring it out and say "you still have that old stuff?" Of course I do, still works like a charm and I have all the attachments! My daughters will fight over my Spice of Life Corningware. A gift from momma long ago. That Sankoware enamel is so pretty, I have the small roaster and never thought of using it for fall kitchen decor, but I will now! I love your window video's the best. I loved going downtown when I was a child and look at all the beautiful window displays. What do you expect when you had a mom born and raised in NYC?🤣
Hi Raven - glad you still use and love your old stuff!! Those things have stood the test of time! I remember a trip to NYC as a kid and being amazed at block after block of incredible window displays in all the stores! It was amazing!
My parents were married in 1967 and had a coppertone stove. I love your window displays. I still use my orange Tupperware canisters that my mother in law passed down to my husband in 1988.
I was wondering during the last episode of Cavalcade Radio Hour when you were going to share this w/ us. Thank you so much for taking the time to decorate those windows & make a vid of them. Always enjoy your creativity. Hello Ralph & Maryann. God bless.
Outstanding!! It's so beautiful to see all the past products ❤️ my gosh takes me away to happy times & collecting myself.. I liked the visions cookware.. I even just use mine for just putting leftover's in ... Thank you for doing such a great job going down memory lane.. At this time of trouble with the world we need each other,, thank you 🙏💗🙏🙏🙏
What a fun trip through my history! Thanks for the tour of the display windows, you do an amazing job! So many items I either still have and use, or I remember from when I was young. Those were the good old days, haha!
The rooster dishes I use for thanksgiving. Whenever my daughter finds them at antique stores, she’ll buy them to fill out the set. They used to belong to her grandmother on her dad’s side.
I recognize so many of the products that relatives had while I was growing up. My aunt had a top loading dishwasher. It was so loud; the kitchen door had to be closed to suppress the noise. There were no options on this unit, just a knob you pushed in and turned to the on position. The top rack had to be removed before you could load dishes into the bottom rack. Nothing fancy but it was built like a tank. The fall windows look great. MAB Vance, Kennedy, Gabbard The Genius of Trump
Hi TT! Those old dishwashers were pretty basic but very well built! They were noisy, too, but they got the job done and it was something special not to have to wash the dishes by hand. Glad you enjoyed the fall windows - thanks!!
Those two GE stoves remind me of my own Almond model GE I use every day. Not a lot of color on mine, but it's not white. Mine still works like new, including the clock-timer. Yesterday it turned out some great pinto beans and cornbread. Those cut-outs on the wall remind me of the Dennison cardboard cutouts for different holidays. Teachers would decorate their classrooms with them when I was in elementary school. Thanks for showing us the fall display.
Hi Jonathan - it was nice to have color options. Now it's white, black or stainless steel. Almond appliances always take me back to the 80's and the Whirlpool range and fridge my mom had at the time. Thanks!
As a new quilter (only a year into it) I was excited to see a quilt in your window! The ladies did a beautiful job and whoever wins, is one lucky duck! I have the orange version of your avocado Crock Pot in your first window! I ran across a single rooster plate at GW a few years ago, from your first window. I left it and regret it. Those vintage honeycomb decorations are the best and so easy to store since the fold up! Wish they would make a comeback. Also love the vintage popcorn decorations, but man they're expensive in my area! I giggle at the not brewing hot coffee into plastic because I have those fleeting thoughts as I store leftovers in my vintage Tupperware. We use the pastel colored Tupperware cups. I have and use so many other vintage Tupperware products. Just love them and the colors they bring to our home. So many things to spy in your windows!
Thanks, bbymks! I give lots of credit to those who can create beautiful things like that quilt - it's a real art and talent. The honeycomb decorations do store well and I'm always on the lookout for more. I don't see many popcorn decorations but when I do they are high priced. I guess they must be a hot collectable right now. I use my vintage Tupperware for storage, but I wouldn't heat anything up in them because I'm not sure about what might be in the plastic. I think it's the heat that releases some of those chemicals. Thanks!
"I love this time of year..." I'm sure that has nothing to do with all the eating associated with this time of year?!?!?!? 🤣 Beautiful display as always! Cant wait for the Christmas edition!
Beautiful display. We acquired GE range just like this harvest gold one in 1983, so it was about 10 years old. Worked like brand new well into the early 2000's. It was sold with the house and for all I know it's probably still working .
Hello Kevin! Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your lovely window display. I could identify with all the items. I’m vintage as well. LOL! P.S. still enjoying the Mexican wedding cake that I made the other day after watching your video!! YUM. Enjoy your videos. Good luck in the beautiful raffle!! Watching from southern Virginia, a 50’s Lind🥰
Love the beautiful windows! Gives me a warm and cozy feeling... A fabulous tribute to Autumn! 🍂🧡🍁 And, btw...Corning is still making Visions cookware. And I recently bought a couple of small sets because I like to cook in glass/ceramic more often now for various reasons. I even bought a new old stock Visions chicken fryer pot with a lid I found on eBay which is something they no longer make for the visions line Love it :). Of course, Farberware is great too! My stepdad loved to cook and those were some of his favorite pots and pans 😊
You fail to amaze me with your window decorations. I love them. I appreciate the time and effort you put into doing them not once a year but multiply times a year. I have that crock pot in your first window, we call it "ole ugly" because the crock has crackled inside and the lid is cracked (the absolute worse lid every made) I cannot find anything that will fit to replace and the company can't help because it is so old. Keep me in mind if you come across a replacement. We always take it to outings that we know we won't be taking it back with us right away. We never fear it won't make it home because it is so ugly no one wants to keep it. I also had that plastic coffee pot in the second window, (gosh, how old am I?) and I agree with plastic did effect the coffee flavor. I also love the honeycomb tissue holiday decorations. Easy to store year after year and cheap to buy.
Hi Debbie! I love the story of "ole ugly"!! I have another of these crock pots in a different color and guess what? Cracked lid! It was a design flaw for sure - they didn't think through how the lid would hold up over time. Someone told me they found a glass lid that fit the top of the crock so that may be a solution. I always see a lot of orphan glass lids at the thrift stores. Thanks!
That’s a lot of hard work but it sure is a nice transition to a beautiful time of year. I have friends moving to Florida but I wouldn’t trade the beauty of the changing seasons for all the fake tans in Florida. More cooking shows please, I used my farberware rotisserie last weekend to make a filet tenderloin.
A lot of thought and work went into this. Coppertone, Avocado green and Harvest Gold. You have all the vintage colors. Mens' clothes also busted into color in the 1970's decade. Can we call it the Decade of Color ? Thank you again.
I used to sell the Poly Perks. Still own the apple green tupperware canisters. Still have a Wards dishwasher in harvest gold, looks like it was made by the same company as yours. I workes for about a year at Ben Franklin, miss that store.
I always enjoy your window decor videos and wish I could see it in person! Orange and green are my favorite color combinations! The floor tiles were perfect with the theme! The Christmas quilt is beautiful. Is there a way to buy a raffle for it? I suspect it’s just for locals. Anyhoo, thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day!🧡💚💛🍁
Hi Judy! Orange and green is a great duo of color! I've always found fall colors to be warm and inviting. The quilts the ladies make are always so beautiful. They sell the tickets locally and the day of the Harvest Festival. I don't know if there is a way to get tickets otherwise, sorry. Thanks so much!
Your windows are always a peek back into the past. Great job!
Thank you, Kim!
Every town could use some kind of Cavalcade! Happy Autumn to Croswell and the Cavalcade team!
Thanks so much, Albert! The windows are a fun way to share the collection with the community. Happy Autumn!

You're welcome, Lauren! Thanks for watching!
The display brings back memories. 😊
Hi Rita! Glad it brought back memories!
Your autumn window display is outstanding! Takes me back to a simpler time when I was a young bride. I have and still use many of your items. I even had the harvest gold stove and refrigerator in 1975. Thank you for all your hard work.

Thanks, Ian! That Vision cookware got a lot of looks when it first came out!
I forgot to say how much I love your window!
Thank you, Pam!
Sooo, soooo, happy to see this! Thank You!
You're welcome, IngDebo! Appreciate you watching!
Your fall windows look especially grand at night with the lighting enhancing the autumnal colors👏🍁. That light fixture in your first window I remember my sister had one exactly like it in her dining area in the 70’s🍁. Hard to believe we are into October already🍁🎃 Thanks
Hi Diana - I remember seeing a lot of those light fixtures in different colors in homes during the 70's. Thanks!
Great show 😊
Thanks so much, Charles !
The windows look great as always. I really miss the different color appliances. They added so much to the kitchen. Again great job. 😊
Thanks so much, Bonnie! I miss the colors, too! They warmed up the kitchen.
My Spice o' Life Corningware collection is having it's full season of glory right now!
That's for sure, Pam! All the great colors of autumn in one place!
Beautiful job. Enjoy the change in season and welcome to the colder weather recipe's!
Thanks, David! Time to start making those great comfort food dishes!
Really awesome!!!
Thanks, Andrea!
Beautiful windows as usual! Btw, I still have my mom’s warming tray. It still works and I use it for holidays!
Thanks, John! Glad you still have mom's warming tray - they are handy for entertaining!

Thanks, EMedina!
I don't know how this ended up in front of my face but it's the highlight of my day so far. Thank you for what you're doing.
You're welcome, tunanoodle! So glad the video found its way to you - thanks for watching!

Your windows are so welcoming! I can't imagine how much time and effort is invested to create a "peak into the past". Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Denise!
My parents were married in 1967 and had a coppertone stove. I love your window displays. I still use my orange Tupperware canisters that my mother in law passed down to my husband in 1988.
Thanks, Anna! Glad you're still using your orange Tupprware!
After living in California going on 26 years, Fall is the season that I miss after leaving Michigan. Love seeing these displays year after year.
Hi Andrew - I sure would miss fall. Winter I could live without! Thanks!
I remember some of the crankiest moods would hit in February. Lucikly I lived neer Kellogg Forrest and would cross country ski.
I love your windows! They take me back to my youth. ❤
Glad you enjoy the displays, bullethill!

Thanks so much, Oralia! I was thrilled to find a box of those old floor tiles at a sale - great colors!
Thank you, Kevin. Your window looks so good. The result shows a lot of thought and hard work.

Hi BritInLvr - I'll bet those rooster dishes look great on your Thanksgiving table!
Another wonderful display. All the best.
Thanks so much, Trent!

Thanks so much, Keith and Terri!
What fun!❤
Thanks, Sara!
Lovely
Thanks, Sammmy!
A lot of thought and work went into this. Coppertone, Avocado green and Harvest Gold. You have all the vintage colors. Mens' clothes also busted into color in the 1970's decade. Can we call it the Decade of Color ? Thank you again.
Hi Fred! I remember the suits, ties and shirts of the 70's! Lots and lots of colors. I think it really was a color decade to be sure! Thanks!
Hi Kevin happy fall love the windows orange is my fav color say hi to Ralph and sis George Dietlein
Thanks so much, George! I'll tell them "hi" from you!
I used to sell the Poly Perks. Still own the apple green tupperware canisters. Still have a Wards dishwasher in harvest gold, looks like it was made by the same company as yours. I workes for about a year at Ben Franklin, miss that store.
Hi hoosierpioneer! I'm not sure who made dishwashers for Wards, but it might have been KitchenAid. Thanks!

Thanks, SK!
But wait Kevin ! Where’s the made in Japan turkey platter ? Do you not have one ? They were all that and a bag of chips in the northeast.🦃🦃🦃🦃
Hi Elaine - I have one of those turkey platters buried in a box somewhere. I remember how popular they were!
I am looking for your cabbage rolls
Hi Lory - search my channel under "stuffed cabbage" and it will come up. Thanks!
