Thanks, Terrill! The idea for the video was a last minute thought. I just grabbed the knives and headed to the deck. I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
Yay, fixed blades! Those are beauties Tom. Some of the best USA companies now gone. If we could only get in a Way Back machine, set the dial for 50-60 years ago and go knife shopping! Excellent video! Happy Friday! Cheers, Dubya
Dubya, if you ever find a wayback machine, please invite me along! Wouldn't it be great to go back in time and shop for knives? Thanks for watching, my friend.
I have that imperial in carbon steel it was my first fixed blade and I was 14 years old. My dad got it for me when we were camping in Baraboo Wisconsin. GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸 🙏
OKC is now a TM of Blue Ridge. Much of their equipment was bought by Rowen/ESEE. Blue Ridge seems to be talking about keeping it primarily USA made (Ontario was already producing in Taiwan and Italy and was sourcing material from off shore before bankruptcy.) Really great run down of some great classics. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome, Tobias. I believe that the Old Hickory line was still USA made, though some of their other lines were made offshore. Thanks for watching, my friend.
I have one of those impearial deer knife hatchet combo and a 1968 puma skinner still in the box with the temper sticker never been used family airlooms passed down to me
I wish it were mine, but it's a local county park. It's a lake bed that dried up in the early 1900's, and it has been restored with natural prairie grasses and plants. Thanks for watching, my friend. Keep charging!
Some really cool knives. It's so sad that we have lost so many great knife companies. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
You're welcome, Stan. I hope you are doing well, my friend. Keep charging!
Thanks. Enjoyed that Tom.😊
You're welcome, Rasputin. Glad you enjoyed it, my friend. Keep charging!

Great group of fixed blades. If I could only choose 1 knife to take to the woods it would be my Kephart.
The Kephart was described as "Everything you need, and nothing you don't need." It's a great pattern. Thanks for watching Ronald.

I guess I am behind, I only have 2 of the five knives you showed. the Schrade 153 UH and the Imperial. I need to kept looking!
Our Imperials are they same, except you have the fish scaler on the spine. Thanks for watching, brother.

Kinfolks has an interesting history to it, and I'm glad I was able to find a sample of their work. Thanks for watching, Dennis.

You're welcome, Seppiedog! I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
These are great Tom. Always a shame when a US company shuts down.
It sure is, Randy. Thanks for watching, my friend. Keep charging!

I do like the golden spike!👍🏼👍🏼
A lot of people say good things about the Golden Spike. Thanks for watching, Radar.
Very cool. I just picked up a couple German stag handled hunters and an Imperial Prov RI USA.
There were a lot of stag handled knives out of Solingen, Germany. Congrats on picking up your knives. Thanks for watching, my friend.
Nice fixed blades for fixed blade Friday. ❤🔪
Thanks, RGB. Thanks for dropping by, my friend. Keep charging!
Any day that is a reasonable day outside without mosquitoes is a beautiful day. I'm scared to watch this video in case I end up on ebay wanting 1
True words, Josh. Yep, that EBAy is a terrible temptation!
I have one of those impearial deer knife hatchet combo and a 1968 puma skinner still in the box with the temper sticker never been used family airlooms passed down to me
Wow! You've got some real treasures there, Bobby! Thanks for watching, my friend.
All great fixed blades. What a shame that they are now manufactured overseas. Bring back American quality at an affordable price. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
I agree that it would be nice to return to USA manufacturing. Thanks for watching, Tim.
Some great knives my friend and hope you have an awesome day and is that your back deck with that view ? If so lucky you 😂 much love to ya brother
