I'm sure you figured this out, but this charger will indeed charge a completely dead battery. You just have to keep it connected for a few minutes. Eventually the battery will get enough feedback charge and the charging light will start blinking.
I have the same one, not the same brand but it looks exactly the same. Lol. Same short wires and I haven't taken mine apart yet to see the inside. Served me well so far with dead batteries. Didn't cost much. This video has helped me a lot to understand the voltage and current parts as I was a bit confused with that myself. Glad someone knows what their on about 😅👍🏼. Well informative. Thank you.
hi could you show me and describe how you would replace the battery clamps to extend them please , yes they are to short i need to have them longer , thank you
I have this thing, mine came with a box and instructions, but the instructions are pretty much just telling you how to "charge a battery", no info on lights or function lol I will say it does do the job though
You should try the monfara 13S with the regulator nob, I've used it for years, and it even works as a Jumpstart, just need it to pump juice into the dead battery for 10-15min, and it will make the car or truck/tractor start... Nice if you are about to leave, and you battery is dead... Hook it up for 10min and you're ready to go✌️
Years back I blew up a battery. We have all heard the stories. So now when ever I'm connecting/disconnecting battery charger leads I blow on the connection point to ensure no battery electrolyte gas is around to explode the battery
Hello. I have the same, but also different brand (I think the brand is "Trobb"). Charging led is not blinking...or it does but only for a few seconds. Does that mean the battery is dead or to damaged to be recovered)recharged? Thank you sir 😀
Noticed it wouldn’t put any amps into a sla battery so I put an old dumb charger on it for a few days to get the voltage up to 7.5 volts and now the outer man is starting to put .3 amps into it
Mine got 14.1 on automatic, the shape is exactly the same just different "brand" label, does yours happen to have the label reversed on the automatic and manual? or is it mine that actually get reversed label lol
Great video sir I have one of those MF 2B I can't say if it's a great battery charger are not really appreciate your videos keep up the good work sir 👍 👍 🙏 🙏
I just bought two MF50s and they appear to both work well and be a little better made. They came in nice styrofoam padded boxes and I've had them on my F-150 and Maxima (New PowerX AGM batteries in both) and I plan to use them as LONG TERM maintainers/trickle chargers. I try to drive them at least once a month or once every two months. I take extended trips in them three or four times a year. Quick question: The fan NEVER cuts off. Shouldn't this charger go into "maintenance mode" at some point? It takes about five hours for the charger to show the batteries as fully charged, but the fan runs constantly (at least thus far) and I'm about two days in. Any advice would be really helpful. Should I just put the charger on once every month or two or leave it connected? They have a one-year warranty, but I'd rather not be on the Amazonk return gerbil wheel. Returns are one area where Amazon's becoming increasingly "skeezy". TIA for any help!
Try it on another battery just to make sure it's not the battery that's the problem. If it still doesn't work, just return it. These are cheap and not worth the effort to troubleshoot.
Interesting charger. I have been recovering a bunch of old SLA batteries for a solar project. I may end up picking up one of these things.
How is it?
This charger is made for poor people in the third world and the critic is from the first world.
I have this one, it's the same shape, just a different brand, and this item is really very helpful.
Yeah the "brand" doesn't really matter. These things are all pretty similar. They are decent little chargers for the price. Thanks for the comment!

Glad it was helpful!
I like the looks of this charger. Good info. 2 years after this video the price has gone up to 36.99.

yeah, there's not much to it
I have this exact one, and I'm happy with it.
Good to hear!
Very thanks with buy charger and review video ! Greatings

ooh, I like the idea of being able to set the amps manually. I'll look that one up. Thanks!

good tip! A well ventilated area is recommended.

Not really sure. Check the voltage to see if it's still charging.

Who knows. 😅 That switch might not do much. It's not very complicated inside.
@@BookAutowerks I'm pretty sure it's reversed, the auto-manual button.
Ok i have two questions why A should droping and why you should unplug at 15V?
Charging a FLA battery over 14.8v just causes unnecessary heat.

I would just hook it up once a month for an overnight charge instead of leaving them always connected.
Can it be used JUST to measure how many volts a battery has without charging?
don't think so
Its funny i have that same battery charge u have the red one and now have the same new charger u have now lol
God you are so funny iam crying laughing here 😂 brilliant video ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sir please give me .power mosfet part nambar .thnks
turned manual-automatic switch
Only lasted a year for me.
😯
Contact company they will send you a new one. Or atleast the seer through Amazon did
after 2 days break down mine
Send it back to Amazon. I still use mine ~2yrs later.
I suspect you bought it from a third party seller. I doubt Amazon would ever sell those.
😆 click the link and see for yourself. Says "Ships from Amazon". Amazon sells stuff that's way worse than this.
MF 2B charger no output current. Not charging
