Just read on Instagram that this is the last one of the live in studio series from Polaris. Super bummed about not being able to witness a true Seven Names performance. And when I say true - hardcore Tess fans would know exactly what I'm referring to.
I feel like Dan sings everything at like 75% effort. The songwriting is great for what it is. But I used to listen to Tesseract when I would work out, and now I don't. They used to have a very heavy, primal sound. They're like a meditative band now, which is cool if that's what they are shooting for.
They've gone from a chuggy band to a melodic band. Their new teaser stuff though is pretty heavy, I personally like the more mature melodic stuff more. Altered state is a fantastic album but I wish it was recorded exactly the same just with dans voice instead.
I love the portals performance of this song more, but this one of course was more of a softer version that I like because in Portals he had a more louder sound in the verses, nevermind its so hard to choose lmaoo
He sounds the same when live. I was lucky enough to witness them perform live when they visited India. This one has to be my favorite song of Tesseract ♥️
