All of us have an inherent devotion which gets lost in the course of living in this fast moving world. It is beyond doubt that Almighty always forgives our sins but in order to realise his mercy, we all need to do away with our ignorance and come back to the Lord in order to re-discover our sadhana. It is equally important to take the name of God as well as remember him while doing all the deeds we do in this world 🙏🏼🙏🏼
The names of God and God are indifferent. The name of God can ward off all dark forces and spirits. The vibration of God's name can cleanse a stubborn hardened heart of sin and convert it into a loving devotional one. The emphasis on chanting the name of God is there in so many religions. His birth, death, resurrection, actions, miracles, teachings, saints and virtues, are all to be mediated upon to attain divine love, according to the School of Divine Love in Catholicism. The Holy Spirit is God sitting inside everyone, making our bodies the temple of God, inspiring us to follow God. This is very similar to our Vedic philosophy of Brahaman, Parmatma and Bhagwan. Ram, al-Rahim, Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Allah etc etc are names of the one same God. Creating disputed argument on superiority of one name over the other is utmost foolishness and would be the greatest curse to someone on the path of Bhakti in my opinion. We should ask our 'isht-dev' for that special grace, through which we can see and experience His presence in all religions and cultures. That special grace is extremely rare and is bestowed upon only through the medium of Radha-Rani, Mother Mary, Hazrat Fatema, or any other feminine icon of your isht-dev. My spiritual and religious practice shall always showcase to the world that we all worship the same God and I am infilled with the inspiration to be martyred for this uncorrupted truth about God 🙏🤲.
O my Lord! Your Holy Names bestow all auspiciousness and out of Your causeless mercy, You have invested all Your transcendental potency in all Your Holy Names. But my great misfortune is that I have no love for Your Names and so by chanting those Holy Names, I couldn't benefit myself. Chanting the Holy Names can be beneficial for us if the mind is attached in love and faith. Otherwise, as Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has said - 'bahu janma kare yadi shravan-kirtan, tabhu na paye Krishna pade Prem-dhan.'

For such individual, it's as easy to discard the body, as getting up from bed and moving on in life after ,on a hot summer morning. There is no desire or aversion remaining to the world. Swamiji describes very nicely that God always resides in His name. If we see God now we cannot recognise Him but when we chant and remember Him from our heart He will definitely grace us one day and we can recognise Him easily.
Thanks a million for sharing Such practical spiritual wisdom!!! We pitiful souls think that just by repeating the name of God, we will attain God. Yes - chanting the name(without remembering) might help the mind to stay positive and calm to certain extent (something is better than nothing). But for this chanting to be really fruitful, our consciousness should be absorbed in remembrance as well such that God alone is in our consciousness at the time of death and no other material relative. This ties in with the rule - wherever your strongest attachment is that's where you will go in the next life.
Before hearing this lecture, I had one hope, a person like me also has chance to get gods abode through his grace, just mechanically il chant. Now even that hope got bursted out.
Swamiji so beautifully says that God resides in His name with all His divine powers, so when we take His name through kirtans with intense devotion, we invoke His grace. Kirtan is considered to be the kalyug dharma that can help to break the cycle of life and death. Thank you, Swamiji.
Jai Guru Dev it means do not take the name of God in vain and squander the blessing of it... but live your life as if the God you serve is present everytime you hear or say His Name.
By being the absolute nondual transcendental reality and person everything personally related to God such as his name, form, pastimes, knowledge, are nondifferent from his essence therefore his name, pastimes, and knowledge ( Bhagavid-gita ) are all transcendental. As Krishna says in the gita, " A person who is fully absorbed in Krishna consciousness is sure to attain the spiritual kingdom because of his full contribution to spiritual activities in which the consummation is absolute and that which is offered is of the same spiritual nature." also he says, " of vibrations I am the transcendental " om " . Of sacrifices I am the chanting of the holy names ( japa )
Hare Krishna, in Ramayan it is said that bhav kubhav anakh alashu...... Mangal dis dashu. Please explain this choupai also, my humble request 🙏 Also when ajamil took his son name Narayan, then only he was able to listen discussion between yamraj and vishnudoot, that ultimately progressed in to bhakti and then to golok, that means if even one take name of god without bhav, then atleast god helps him to understand and moves towards bhakti. Please respond/ make video, my humble request 🙏
Radhey Radhey, Swamiji has already demystified some of your doubts in this video and other videos in this channel. Please watch this video again and again. There are different levels of sadhaks/aspirants in this world and our scriptures have different instructions for each level. We have learned from our Gurudev that 'bhav kubhav...' from Ramayan is meant for a novice sadhak. He is instructed to take only the name of God. So when the sadhak religiously follows this practice of taking the name of God, he later realizes that this practice is not helping him much in his spiritual growth (if he honestly analyzes his growth). If he has true hunger for God, then he will go back and ask his Guru why he is not progressing much in the spiritual path. Then his Guru will give him the next set of instructions which will take him to the next level. So a sadhak then realizes that without attaching the mind to God while taking His name will not purify the mind. He learns the importance of engaging the mind in the spiritual practice. So, now he starts meditating on God (or remembering God) while chanting or taking His divine name. This is the next advanced level for that novice sadhak. With the practice of meditation and loving remembrance of God, the sadhak begins to develop love for God and his hunger to attain Him intensifies. This in turn leads to mind purification. The stronger his attachment for God, the purer his mind becomes. And devotional practice or sadhana bhakti is all about purifying the mind. Guru and God waits for that day when the mind becomes 100% pure so that They can bestow their ultimate grace upon the soul. Ajamil's story is a little different from how people generally interpret it. He was a very pious person and an advanced sadhak before he became a sinner. Bhagavat says that he was 'jitendriya', i.e., he had complete control over his senses. In the path of bhakti, Guru and God protect our spiritual earning and give results accordingly. Nothing is lost and we start from where we were left off in our past life. Because Ajamil was an advanced sadhak, God gave him a chance by giving him the near-death-experience and made him realize his fallen state. So when he had that realization, he renounced the world at once and went to Haridwar to continue his bhakti sadhana. He attained God in one year. Now, we should think that if he could attain God in one year, how sincerely he must have done his sadhana! Also, he must have advanced a lot in the spiritual practice before he became a sinner. That is why he could attain God-realization in a year.
@@bhaktilectures4098 we are able to witness God's causeless mercy in the story of Ajamil. He has His own ways to protect and grow His devotees in devotion. God crosses all His limits. God is that ghost, who once starts haunting us, doesn't leave us at all...☺️🙏
Radhe Radhe 🙏 thank you very much for your reply, you are absolutely correct a novice sadhak chants holy name without bhav, he/she can not chant with bhav since starting he has to make practice, so when he takes holy name then only because of god's causeless murcy, he will develop hunger for God and the advanced in bhakti. As it is said if you try to take one step towards God he will help you and comes towards you many steps. But it is clear one can not attach mind to God since zero day. Also it is true that Ajamil was a devotee in past and later he fell down, so because of his previous bhakti god helped him. Now in above video, as Swami ji explained ratnakar got god's love because he had faith in his guru that is narad ji. So here question arises how he developed faith in Guru as he was engaged in sinful activities, if it was due to his past life karmas then what was that. Here one shloka from shreemad Bhagwatam also states"" yan-nāma śrutam anukīrtayed akasmād ārto vā yadi patitaḥ pralambhanād vā hanty aṁhaḥ sapadi nṛṇām aśeṣam anyaṁ kaṁ śeṣād bhagavata āśrayen mumukṣuḥ"" Here akasmad, pralambhanad also indicates god's name is beneficial even if one takes it jokingly or without knowing. My humble request please explore it also. Radhe Radhe 🙏
Radhey Radhey, In the case of Ratnakar, yes, he must have done a whole lot of spiritual practice in his past life. Then probably he made a grave offence and fell down from his exalted state. Such a soul is called 'yoga-bhrasta', i.e., there is only a little left for him to reach his goal of God-realization. Another example of yoga-bhrasta soul is Saint Tulsi Dasa. Such souls are extremely rare in every yuga. They can quickly attain God-realization because of their advanced spiritual state (in their previous lifetimes). Because we don't know anything about their past lives, we are unable to understand how could they make such rapid progress. Ratnakar developed 100% faith in his Guru's instructions at once. This is almost impossible for a novice sadhak. That proves, he was a yoga-bhrasta soul. When his good 'sanskars' awoke, that is exactly when he met his Guru Narad Ji and he developed 100% faith instantly. Actually, per the philosophy if we can develop 100% faith in Guru, who is a God-realized Saint, we can attain God right away. But we are unable to develop 100% faith instantly. It takes lifetimes of spiritual practice to be able to reach that state of 100% faith in Guru and God. It all depends on our spiritual practice. As the scriptures say, God resides in His all-auspicious name with all His power. But we don't have that faith that He resides in His name. If we have that faith, then we will have different divine experience while chanting His name. When a sadhak's faith in God's name becomes stronger and stronger, then sattwik bhavs begin to manifest in his body, such as he sheds tears of intense longing for God; he becomes stunned, his voice chokes while chanting the name of God, his body hair stand on end while remembering the dear Lord of his life (horripilation), his body color changes. Finally, when he comes very close to the state of God-realization, he faints and becomes unconscious while remembering the Lord. If we don't experience any of these symptoms while chanting God's name, that means we have not yet developed that faith that God resides in His name.
Yeah! His last words were, "He raam, He raam" after assassination. He was a very devout God loving person and all stupid conspiracy theories fall off by the very fact that he remembered God after meeting a sudden unexpected death. His heart was surely into God and he thus is a saint who promoted the path of righteousness and unity in diversity. His actions promoted righteousness and truth. And thus God entitled in His destiny the name, Father of the Nation, India.
'Time of death' according to scriptures means the exact time when the soul departs the body. No one knows when the soul exactly leaves the body. No instrument can measure that. First the body becomes unconscious and later the soul departs the body. If there is even a difference of a fraction of a second, it cannot be considered as 'time of death' per scriptures. So we can never know who exactly takes the name of God at the time of death per the scriptures.
This video shows us that Krishna Himself chooses who comes to Him. Otherwise, it's impossible to be perfect in this lifetime for a normal person who is married, has a family and goes everyday to work. According to me, you do not have a chance to get moksha unless you are chosen by God. To get the chance of Moksha is more difficult than the chance of winning the euromillions lottery ! Well, no one is perfect and it's even more difficult. Other religions are updated and facilitate us to approach God. The fact to love and believe in Jesus assures one's own salvation. Krishna is demanding a lot more from a poor soul with the Russian roulotte risk of missing the opportunity of moksha in this current lifetime and be reborn as a rabbit. Sorry Krishna but you need to make an effort to update dharma.
Get out from here with your toxic feminism...don't try to pollute religion with your dirty feminist trick.Get lost and ask other religious leaders this stupid question
Doesn't he say Sri Krishna worships the form of Radha Rani as the highest state of bliss and Sri Radha is the soul of Sri Krishna. I don't want to criticize but that is common speech and we all understand him refers to both genders but even listening to spiritual lecture you are still caught up in political correctness or wokeness and looking for faults. How can you benefit while looking for faults?

The names of God and God are indifferent. The name of God can ward off all dark forces and spirits. The vibration of God's name can cleanse a stubborn hardened heart of sin and convert it into a loving devotional one.
The emphasis on chanting the name of God is there in so many religions.
No prayer in Catholicism is started and ended by saying -
"In nomine Patris st felis et spiritus Sanctis" meaning in the Name of The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
These three aren't three Gods but one God existing in three dimensions.
The Father is formless all pervading Spirit.
The Son is God who personifies Himself into a form, who in Catholic faith is Jesus, incarnation of God.
Every Prayer concludes with the phrase -" in the name of Jesus, in the name of Mother Mary, etc etc."
In Islam , God has infinite virtues, however, 99 of them are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an. The islamic prayers too start with the proclamation,
Bismillah , al- Rahaman, al- Rahim, al- Kareem etc etc
In the name of God, the Almighty, the most merciful, most gracious, most beneficent, etc etc
Everything about God is infinite, so are His saints who call Him by infinite names.
Radhey Radhey,
Swamiji has already demystified some of your doubts in this video and other videos in this channel.

Are we still in the age of Kali Yuga?
Mahatma Gandhi took the name of Ram at the time of his death
Yeah! His last words were,
"He raam, He raam" after assassination.
Can the name Kali for a boy child good
Gandhiji said hey Ram right ?
Mahatma Gandhi uttered RAM before he collapsed to the ground by gun shots. God was on his mind even on his last moment
Completely Useless
Why NOT GOD is present in HER name!!!
Male chauvinism indeed even Swamiji do this!!!! Hahahahaha all males!!!
Get out from here with your toxic feminism...don't try to pollute religion with your dirty feminist trick.Get lost and ask other religious leaders this stupid question
He considers krishna as God.... You can say 'HER' name as well.. Makes the same sense
