Seen in Quasar comics where Wendell Vaughn went hunting" the living loser ..err living laser' through the watcher's portal. In one reality Quasar ended up in a reality based in the cosmos in collusion story line. The deviant maelstrom gained power of Kronos. The quantum bands and the power of the abstract entity Anomaly. Along with his native power if kinetic energy. He created a ultra massive black hole that was collapsing the universe into the hole. Completely reversed the expansion if the universe. He was acting as an agent of Oblivion. His power level and anomalous power led him to confront and in this reality battle Thanos who was wielding the Infinity Gauntlet. He noticed the speck that was quasar and blasted him through the Quantum zone out of the multiverse itself. Now talk about too powrful for the MCU.
The whole point of the very end of the Korvac Saga was that Michael had good intentions and according to Moondragon would have made the universe a better place. He wasn't a typical villain and the story was far from as simple as you put it. I loved it and it truly stood out in it's day as a especially dramatic exciting story.

Many years ago I went into a second hand bookshop and there was a "What if the Avengers had become pawns of Korvac", issue 32. It started from the end of the Korvac saga, I think Carina died and Michael lost it and instead of sacrificing himself he decided to bring total Order to the universe. It was cosmic man, the major powers had a meet to figure out what to do. There was Galactus, Grandmaster, Gardener, The Stranger, Shaper of Worlds, Uatu (probably), Lord Chaos and Master Order, TLT and The Inbetweener. Such a collection of Cosmic entities wouldn't be seen again until Secret Wars 2. I have to say the story was... okay and it was a "What if" but just seeing all those characters in one panel was HOLY FRICKEN SHITTTT.
Kinda...Carina DID die but it was Michael who took her life....the diverging event in the What If? universe was that Carina had not doubted Michael therefore he simply killed all the Avengers...whereas in the 616 universe Carina doubted him and therefore without her love he saw no reason to continue with his mission I loved the bit at the end when it was shown that it was Death that had manipulated Michael all along (despite his high minded principles) to destroy the universe. One of the best comic stories of all time in my opinion

There's an old school What If comic that I read as a kid...something like What If Korvac didn't die? Basically he changed his mind and used this device called the Ultimate Nullifier to end creation. It was soooo dope because Korvac laid everyone/thing to waste. Then when there was nothing left, he used it on himself. So crazy, because it showed how he was literally the most powerful being in all creation. So it was good to peep your story on why he is too powerful for the MCU. Salute!

Hahaha, to me the Korvac Saga has always been, "The Avengers realize they were wrong, but then decide they are okay with it." That's the main reason I don't think this should be adapted to the MCU, though that fight between Starhawk and Korvac was pretty cool.
I got interested in the avengers with the korvac story arc. I remember as a kid seeing the cover of the death issue. Thor (as blake) was pounding on the chest of someone to get their heart started.....maybe captain america…..I'm not sure and dead avengers were lying everywhere. That cover moved me as a kid. I had to buy it. The inside was even worse. We saw how each avenger died. I'd like to read it again. Hmmm....marvel unlimited!

I don't think he wrote himself into the corner on this one. I actually really loved the story and the 3 issues of the Korvac saga was A plus writing. One of the best stories ever in Marvel.

The problem with this video is that you're assuming in the MCU Korvac would have to be defeated by someone more powerful than him. That's not the only way to defeat a powerful villain. You can trick him, or persuade him, or otherwise use a non-power approach to mess with his remaining human feelings.
It was really sad and made me feel bad for the guy. He didn’t ask to be a cosmic entity capable of destroying planets. The Kree did it to him. And now the only person he cared about thinks of him as a monster. The ending of him just sitting alone out there was really depressing for me

I think your off days with what this character did. Its shorthand To say that he stole the power cosmic. His character was written at the time to be a universal threat rather than a Galactus-level character (Well before the time when every hack writer coming after would use the World Eater as a Nerf football)
Between Strange and Black Panther, they could feasibly replace Iron Man's role in the story. One is super smart and has a high tech suit, and the other has that Tony Stark-like cunning.

I loved the What If w/ Korvac.
Hahaha, to me the Korvac Saga has always been, "The Avengers realize they were wrong, but then decide they are okay with it." That's the main reason I don't think this should be adapted to the MCU, though that fight between Starhawk and Korvac was pretty cool.
I got interested in the avengers with the korvac story arc. I remember as a kid seeing the cover of the death issue. Thor (as blake) was pounding on the chest of someone to get their heart started.....maybe captain america…..I'm not sure and dead avengers were lying everywhere. That cover moved me as a kid. I had to buy it. The inside was even worse. We saw how each avenger died. I'd like to read it again. Hmmm....marvel unlimited!

You do realize that in the Korvac saga the Avengers were the villains in that storyline? Korvac was going to end all the struggles and strife on earth and he killed himself when he realized that mankind wasn't ready for paradise and his girlfriend killed her self because of the loss of her love and the earths savior that wanted nothing more but man to be free of its burdens

I don't think he wrote himself into the corner on this one. I actually really loved the story and the 3 issues of the Korvac saga was A plus writing. One of the best stories ever in Marvel.
My intro to Korvak was a What If? issue wherein Korvac used the ultimate nullifier and destroyed the entire universe/multiverse. Cool story...

The problem with this video is that you're assuming in the MCU Korvac would have to be defeated by someone more powerful than him. That's not the only way to defeat a powerful villain. You can trick him, or persuade him, or otherwise use a non-power approach to mess with his remaining human feelings.
Aaand and he's supposed to be in Captain Marvel 2.

I think your off days with what this character did. Its shorthand To say that he stole the power cosmic.
