After 3 sessions, if you will, the play has gotten steadily worse. Last night was straight up brutal at times. I’ve never seen people (man, woman or child) struggle to make lay-ups at this rate. I also think the fact that you’ve only got 6 teams and 36 players is going to get old really fast; especially with the teams that are struggling. I’m trying real hard to find the silver lining here, but it’s tough. I’ll give it another week or so, but if it doesn’t round into form, I’m probably out. We shall see.
Shame man… my whole life it’s always been ‘we need people to watch women’s basketball’, but they just can’t compete at a high enough level. Need better coaches, culture, or something because to many players clearly do not practice as much as they should.
Or it gains new watchers from word of mouth or people just stumbling on it. Not everyone has the same standards or is looking for the same thing when watching these games. I totally get why a lot of CC fans don’t like it because they usually have higher standards.
I watched all six games on MAX and I think a lot of others did as well from what I’ve been seeing online. It’s a better experience in my opinion. None of those numbers include MAX because that info isn’t shared. I don’t care if the quality of play improves or not. It’s a short entertaining watch for me while I wait for real women’s basketball in May. It’s also a good way to learn who some of the players are before WNBA starts.
