Which swimmer should be forgiven for not passing doping test? I am confused
I guess it depends on who you ask. I think if you break the rules you should pay the consequences. If you already paid them then you are good to go. Should the rules be enforced more strictly and equally no matter who you are? I think so. But that's up to the governing body.
@@SkillsNT i try not to name in order to avoid arguing. I see your point and i agree that too.
@@SkillsNT Personally I think that depending on the offense athletes should get permanent bans. A lot of PEDs (steroids for example) give a competitive edge that doesn't simply disappear with time. It is different when athletes miss tests or are caught with substances that are arguably not performance enhancing (marijuana for example).
But as you said this isn't up to us, but up to the governing body.
