Awesome tour, thanks ! I have the powder bowl on cobalt base @ 13:11 & it's one of my favorite Fenton pieces. Pretty sure it retired in the 1950's.
It’s actually from the 2000’s. It’s gorgeous though.
@@stephensuniqueantiques2430 The bottom of mine reads 1950 hand painted by S. Stephens. Is it different from the one on display in your video?

I am a hobbyist of Anything Amethyst glass...when I see your videos I want to buy another item...I am not as high end as you and your friends...but as I keep picking up items along the way the collection is becoming quite nice....I'm not even close to being stunning...but I will contact you in 10 years to come and video my home...lol lol lol

They’re awesome!
I love that you reply back...thank you...
Absolutely! 😊
What was the name of the high end ceramics? You only said it once and apologies, but the accent made it hard even at half speed. Sounded like, “Crowns or Kranze?”
Franz Ceramics. I’m sorry 😅
@@stephensuniqueantiques2430 I’m such a dork! Thank you!!!!
Ohhh
Isn’t it amazing!
Wow! I don't even have words. Thanks for Sharing 💖
🤤
I know right? You need a bucket and a mop for the drool
I’m a beginner here. Is every piece that has a different color on the rim considered and called “crested”? I’m learning search terms.Thanks.
Great question! Yes, if it is another color applied to the edge it is a crest. Sometimes pieces with opalescence bleeds to the edge but isn’t a crest. Also, there’s some colors like Ruby that goes from Ruby to yellow at the edge and sometimes clear at the edge.
@@stephensuniqueantiques2430 thank you! When I learn enough to have another question, I know who to ask. I am not much of a collector, but I have a few pieces of Fenton cabbage rose and hobnail in the colonial green color, and I love them.
When does condition matter?
Condition always matters but some collectors can’t afford perfect condition pieces and can stand a chip or crack they can turn to the back for $50-60 instead of a perfect piece that’s going to be $500+
