FYI they’re called Shapes, because every flavour is a different shape.
Also - Shapes used to be super flavourful like Pringles ... but I think they tried to cheap out and now there is like 1/5th of the flavouring in the packet. They are completely tasteless now.
And they changed the flavours of the shapes but every Australian got so upset about it (because they were disgusting) and basically untied to bully the company into keeping the old flavours...
They took away the drumstick flavour *face palm*

I don’t know why youtube recommended this four years late, but 1. I love seeing non-Australians play with our stuff, and 2. the notion of the top biscuit being Tim and the bottom biscuit being Tam… 😐 I’ll never see a Tim Tam the same way again Ollie, you’ve forever changed me 😂

They didn't do it right. Needed to just go to an Aussie's home & be hosted. Homemade lamingtons with jam & cream, sausage sizzle bbq, shapes go great with dip, Tim tams with a hot bev with the corners nibbled & suck it through then shove it in, cheese & Vegemite toasties, weetbix with plenty of sugar, honey joys. All the proper stuff😄
I feel like us Aussies, alone, are the only ones who can criticise our snack foods.
I love Tim Tam. If you bite the corner of it and bite the other corner across it, and you use it to sip coffee or hot chocolate through it, it tastes really great. It melts the chocolate on Tim Tam and you got a perfect combo.

It's also great with a cold milk (flavoured or plain, even almond or soy milk). The cold milk makes the inside moist and slightly rigid. I don't know how to properly put it into words but damn it's good.

Yes, we like our coconut. It's probably because we have the climate to grow coconut palms. The story behind Lamingtons is that once there was a Lord Lamington who came to visit Australia and had some big dinner he was attending. Before the dinner info got to the chef that he liked chocolate and coconut, so cake iced in chocolate and coated with desiccated coconut was what he came up with.
Lamingtons can also come with cream and jam in the middle, though I would dare say the best is if you find a bakery who does that with fresh cream, but that is because I hate mock cream.

Haha shapes actually went through a 'reform' in the past few years. Completely changed the flavouring recipes up and everyone hates it, we still buy them for the childhood memories though

My visit to Australia was as a pilgrim in an event called World Youth Day. In our lunches we were given either TimTams or Lamingtons. Ohhhh how I miss those days!! Miss you, Australia. ❤️

Grainwaves and pods are absolutely mint, as far as our snacks go. Shapes are hit or miss with their flavours, also they're called shapes because the different flavours have different shapes. Lol.

We used to make vovo in the pastry kitchen at work from scratch with delicious raspberry jam and freshly toasted coconut, they are absolutely delicious ... but then a chef started to called them fanny biscuits so no one take them seriously anymore 😂😂
