“when the ride is slightly more than you expect, people go to dark places and come out the other side- I don’t know if I have a point. What’s my point?” -Dustin Klein
Proud of you guys pushing through the pain. I just completed a 100 Mile mountain bike race route, climbing over 11,000 feet over single track pavement, and gravel. There were times that I wanted to quit, and ate three tubers along the way. Thank you for always inspiring to keep pushing! You and the adventure squad are what cycling is all about! Love your videos!
Holy hell those rocks & that much climbing in not many miles!! 😵💫😵💫 So looking forward to your Prestige recap!! Hope y’all made it out alive. Also love the fact that we were all in WA at the same time for different Rapha events!!!
65 miles on mtb trails, especially on the terrain you guys were riding can easily be almost double that on the road in terms of effort with same elevation lol. Nice man,
Bonking sucks. But good luck. Next weekend I’m driving over your way for the Harvest Century. Way more chill. And AQI of 46 (today). Why didn’t choose that ride? Oh yeah… adventure squad…
Even though I have only raced once, a 12hr one at that, my advice: Pedal, breathe, pedal, breathe, but most importantly don't quit....because no matter how bad you think you are, there's going to be at least one racer who's worse (they'll quit), so technically you won't be last. Good Luck!
Going to dark place before an event makes the event not seem as shockingly dark unless.. it’s truly that dark and you regret not going to more dark places prior 😂
I finished the High Cascades 100 this year running solely on Hammer HEED and stoke. My advice: don't bunk; stay on top of the hydration/nutrition. Also, find your pace and stick to it. You got this.
Damn Dustin you’re ballin! Dyna plug bar ends and shower anywhere?! And Ron…don’t feel bad buddy I think we’ve all had rides with “indistinct words”! 😂
Problem: Ron didn't feel well. Solution: No imported cheese sponsor segment. The next adventure would be lacking if you WERE prepared...............hahahaha!
Yooooo @dustinklein sorry if you’ve already posted something like this /sorry to push content on you, but! Would be an interesting video if you showed your different level of kit for different weather etc?
@@EverythingsBeenDone yea! It might take a little longer to compile but the way you cut stuff i think it would be awesome to see what different temps/ conditions you like to throw on to help others. If its too much time to find weather windows to throw on different layers it would be funny to see those layers used on say a shit weather day etc or just one of your episodes where you talk on them and do one of those video characters you choose montage for different temps!
Hooooly toledo. That was wild. When bad dudes like you only average 7mph, i KNOW it was wicked hard. Hope Ron figured out why he had a bad day. OK, I'm time traveling forward to the race day video!
The numbers..... The 7000 feet was the important part. Also, we are your support dog? Coming from man with a dog like Winston that is truly a compliment. I will be there........if you scratch me behind the ears........and bring treats.
MBT race? And you need tips? Well, good thing I've been watching lots of stuff like Red Bull Hardline and Joyride; I'd say you just need to do a few backflips, seems to work for them 😀
Riding at altitude with heavy smoke air is not too wise and may have contributed to some of the discomfort , I love your vids but sometimes you guys have a tendency to push your limits and no one wants to be the quitter. I gotta have one of those Yakima water tube thingy.
You guys are animals at baseline. Do you think the AQI factored into the difficulty? I feel like shit if I ride when the AQI > 50. I won't do it. So, I've been off the bike for a week. FUCK.

I think I’ve watched every video you’ve ever made, and I’ve never seen Ron crack out like that. Hope y’all recover well!

Thats amazing! The event was heavy duty BUT we did make it out alive ;)
You and Ron Sitting back to back was amazing
Dang, I never thought I'd see Ron in trouble like that. Glad you all got down safely. 🙏
He went to the darkside. But pulled it off and STILL road it home!
@@EverythingsBeenDone he rode home! 🤯
Ron cracks me up my god
8:39 HAHA
I freaking love you man!
I love Drew's 'Unsubscribe' hat
Glorious irony!
Really dig the rebel helmet.
I was worried until Ron started making Tolkien references. Then I knew it was all going to be OK.
You guys were craked damn. Lets go Dustin. Lets go Ron. Dig deep!!
I like the "action edit" with suspensful music and slo-Mo
When/Where's the race? I live in Bellingham and want to cheer the crew on
I'd like to try that route someday on my hardtail.
You would love it.
Also loads of camp spots if an over night is in the cards.
Routes in the description.

Right on!
Great video. Loved this one.
Dustin, my friend -
What are the chances of getting a Ron T-shirt on your menu? The guy is truly one of a kind, in the best way! 💙
(I would buy two!)
Tell me about these Pirelli tires.
hey Dustin! how are you filming on a bike?
I'm there Dustin!
Hi what Ergon grips do you have on please?
Good. Gawd. Huge!!!
You can do it!
Nice to see more of your ink. Great video again buddy! And best luck for the next weekend adventure!
Ron is so subtle there at 7:43. lol
Bonking sucks. But good luck. Next weekend I’m driving over your way for the Harvest Century. Way more chill. And AQI of 46 (today). Why didn’t choose that ride? Oh yeah… adventure squad…
Epic ride man, smoke and dust isn't really helpful when you have to go deep into the paincave 💪🏽🤘🏽
I'm emotionally there for you guys. Never let Ron eat hard boiled eggs unless you want him to get lost.
Guys this was a great video. Bring the sufferfest. And always remember. Don't hammer, shred instead!
dang im glad everyone ok
Glad Ron made it out safely.
Thanks Justin, sweet video.
Nobody die ok...we love y'all..
Ron is the best Dungeon Master, always taking you guys on crazy adventures!
Ron, we're all with you bud💖 We've all been there 😅😬☠️
7:24 is where the banjo music starts ...
Was that your front shock clapping 😁
I thought it was rum strike. But not completely sure.
Thats insane elevation gain over such a short distance!
Man, I hope Ron’s ok. Bonking out is no joke. Shower thing looks cool.

"Pretty shite." 😂 Ron Lewis, what a guy
🤘
You going to run tubered or tuberless during the race?
Wait for Ron, he is the best riding buddy ever
New camera? Footage looks a bit sharper or something.

Do this 90s MTBs!
All the waaaay!
@@EverythingsBeenDone Zoom zoom!!!
We Love you Ron, hope you pulled thru
Make a much longer training montage, that's my best tip
I would like to see a review of the Magped!
Y’all gotta eat carbs like it’s your job out there next weekend. It’ll make all the difference I promise.
Maybe a spongier bike
100% agree!
You still be stoked on what I figured out.
@@EverythingsBeenDone I just followed you on Strava…puttin in some miles dayum!
that's a hell of a way to bonk on Fifteenmile
Those who know!!
We've all been Ron on a ride...
MTB Ride by the numbers....MAN MILES!!! Kudos to you players!
Damn Dustin you’re ballin! Dyna plug bar ends and shower anywhere?! And Ron…don’t feel bad buddy I think we’ve all had rides with “indistinct words”! 😂
Woof woof woof
Gonna have to eat a bit more before the race and carry much more carbs on you to avoid "Bunkerville"
Hell yea MTB!

Gotta make Drew wear a different hat next time ;)
Y'all are gonna be just fine... fi...um... What's the team name? You gotta have a name. You can rally behind the name.
A Creek Cooled Cap probably would have made things better.
those damn MTB helmets dont allow for a cap..I was so confused
woof woof 🤣

It's smokey in Montana too. Props for going out in it. Lately I just look out the window and say, nah
Well go fast downhill, don't fall off and drink beer after. Sounds like a game plan. Good luck to all. Take care, Al

Not sure how you spell masochism but I have a feeling this is the video defintion.
I’m not sure if I like this video but good luck
Sugar not cheese 🧀 for ride food Ron

This is making me anxious, I have 3 peaks next weekend and have done no training and I’m riding a new bike…
Recover well and good luck Players.
Honestly got a bit sad seeing Ron like that, not his usual jolly self.
Your rolling resistance is way too high 🤓
Going hard and emptying the tank is both terrible and sublime. I always ride bettor after a big day.
Classic Ron 😂. get that whittle away from him!
+1 for cantankerous
But Drew's hat says Unsubscribe...I'm so conflicted
The bonk is real. That meal after the ride though, is worth every second of suffering.
I want to crawl into this video and help Ron. I want to push him with my mind.
Wow. 15-Mile loop via Gunsight from Bennett Pass... in the smoke... wtf?
120 aqi? its considered as good for riding in China. come to shg, some people even ride with 200 aqi
Woof
I want to be friends/hang out with Ron.
That shower is sick
Good luck this weekend Players‼️🤙
Thanks bud!! Will do our best ;)
You can't say circle the wagons anymore.
