Some of the contractors who gave me a free inspection told me that ridge vent is not a good idea for my roof which is not flat or too steep. Are they right? For the ventilation work properly, do I need to install inflow vents as well? My roof only has some Soffit Vents. Appreciate your input ASAP as I'm in the process of having my roof done. Great video! Why do I feel this system doesn't flow as much air vs a proper soffit and ridge vent application. Why not draw from the soffit, it's the lowest part of the roof.
When making training vids why not do things proper. When you are putting your shingles level with the drip edge your not helping people learn. For the folks watching always run your shingles .5 inches past the drip never cut it flush. And we are taking about the rake edge in this vid that these guys are putting flush. I can understand your guys are doing a demo in the warehouse but people watching and learning don’t know this is wrong fix it Owen Corning
I have used a similar product in the last few years in western Pennsylvania and have had no call back issues
Is there a version of this that would work with a metal roof?
What about when gutters are installed? What about norther state and snow? Will snow be sucked up in threw the vent? Will ice damming back up the vent?
These are my concerns in considering this product.

The whole purpose of this system is because some homes do not haVe soffit ventilation due to it not being possible
